اوستين (الولايات المتحدة) (ا ف ب) – يسعى سائق ريد بول الالماني سيباستيان فيتل الى اللقب العالمي الثالث على التوالي في سباقه المئة عندما يخوض غمار جائزة الولايات المتحدة الكبرى، المرحلة التاسعة عشرة قبل الاخيرة من بطولة العالم لسيارات الفورمولا واحد، وذلك بعد 5 اعوام من بدء مسيرته في عالم سباقات السيارات.

وكان السباق الاول ل’بايبي شوماخر’ وهو لقب فيتل (25 عاما)، في حزيران/يونيو 2007 وفي الولايات المتحدة بالذات (انديانابوليس). وكان عمر فيتل وقتها 20 عاما حيث حل بديلا للبولندي روبرت كوبيتسا الذي تعرض للاصابة في حادث خطير في جائزة مونتريال. وانطلق فيتل من المركز السابع وانهى السباق في المركز الثامن بين مراكز النقاط التي كانت الاولى له في الجوائز الكبرى.

ويطمح فيتل الى تحقيق رقم قياسي جديد يتمثل في ان يصبح اصغر سائق يتوج باللقب العالمي 3 مرات في حال تتويجه باللقب العالمي في الولايات المتحدة وذلك يتوقف على شرطين ضروريين هما الصعود الى منصة التتويج وكسب 15 نقطة اكثر من مطارده المباشر سائق فيراري الاسباني فرناندو الونسو بطل العالم عامي 2005 و2006.

وقال فيتل الساعي لان يصبح ثالث سائق فقط بعد الاسطوريتين مواطنه ميكايل شوماخر والارجنتيني خوان مانويل فانجيو يتوج باللقب ثلاث مرات على التوالي، في هذا الصدد: ‘يجب ان اقود بسرعة’، مضيفا ‘السباق المئة في مسيرتي يعني انني خضت سباقات كثيرة وانني شاركت في مئة سباق. اذا فكرت قليلا، فانني لم ادخل عالم الفورمولا منذ فترة طويلة. وهذا يعني ان الوقت يمر بسرعة كبيرة عندما نقوم بشىء نحبه كثيرا’.

في المقابل، يملك الونسو مصيره بيده حيث يتوقف تتويجه باللقب العالمي الثالث في مسيرته على احرازه المركز الاول في السباقين المتبقيين: الولايات المتحدة والبرازيل، وذلك بغض النظر عن نتائج فيتل.

وانعش الونسو حظوظه في التتويج عندما قلص الفارق بينه وبين فيتل الى عشر نقاط، بواقع 245 نقطة مقابل 255، بعدما حل وصيفا في سباق جائزة ابو ظبي الكبرى الاحد قبل الماضي خلف الفنلندي كيمي رايكونن وامام فيتل بالذات علما بان الاخير قام بسباق رائع بدأه من المركز الاخير وانهاه في المركز الثالث.

ويملك الونسو (31 عاما) خبرة كبيرة في عالم الفورمولا وهو خاض حتى الان 195 سباقا وصعد الى منصة التتويج 84 مرة.

ويدرك الونسو جيدا صعوبة مهمته، وهو لم يتوقف عن تأكيد ذلك من خلال تصريحاته منذ اسابيع عدة حيث يقول ‘انه (فيتل) يملك افضل سيارة، ونحن لدينا افضل فريق’.

وقال الكندي جاك فيلنوف بطل العالم عام 1997 ‘فرناندو يستحق اكثر اللقب، لانه اكثر نضجا’ معللا ذلك باسباب كثيرة بينها ان فيتل لا يخوض سباقات جيدة عندما لا ينطلق من المركز الاول وانه احيانا يتصرف ‘مثل مراهق’، في حين ان الونسو يمتاز بهدوء تام للاستفادة اكثر ما يمكن من فريقه وكسب اكبر عدد من النقاط.
