It’s fair to say that Fortnite has come a long way. It started off as a game focused on their PvE Save The World mode, but once Epic Games launched the battle royale mode, the gaming landscape changed forever. For the first season and change, Epic Games just wanted to create a balanced game that was fun for gamers of all ages to play. It was an answer to PUBG which was dominating the gaming world for the short time it was the best battle royale game on the market.
Once Epic Games set the foundation for the game, it truly started to take off. What started off as a simple and barebones battle royale game quickly turned into one of the best games of the year. We won’t say it’s one of the best games of all-time, but it’s in the conversation thanks to Epic Games are all the hard work they put into the game, especially those real time live events.
