MCU Phase 4 Without CGI

CGI can create visually incredible scenes and sequences, and Marvel’s Phase 4 uses VFX more than ever before. MCU Phase 4 entries Spider-Man: No Way Home, Wandavision, Eternals, Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Loki have brought that visual splendor to both movie theaters and on TV screen via Disney+. There are countless digital artists working on these projects, but that only tells half the story. The truth is, VFX supervisors say over and over again that it’s important for artists to have real-life references so that the CGI can be as photo-realistic as possible. And ideally the references are in camera via sets or props.

It’s fascinating to look at the MCU’s Phase 4 with and without CGI so you can see just how far artists need to go to bring the stories of your favorite Marvel heroes to life. Sometimes it’s just removing wires, or adding webbing. Other times, it means creating a whole detailed world we’ve never seen before, like in the Disney+ series Loki. Viva la CGI!

Batman Actors Before They Got The Role

There has been no hero who has gotten as many swings as Batman. Even if you combine all the people who have played Spider-man and all of the actors who have played Superman you’d still be short by a few of the people who have played Batman, and this is without reaching back to the original serials. Superman might be the standard bearer at DC Comics but Batman is the real star. The moody billionaire that took a few gap years after his parents died to become a ninja and the worlds greatest detective is almost the perfect embodiment of what comic book fans would like to be. Not just rich, but as in control and as moody and mysterious. But being rich would also be nice. From the campy 1966 portrayal to the increasingly dark depictions leading up the the current offering that looks so dark I’m worried I’ll be eaten by a Grue different actors have donned the cowl to a pretty consistent reaction-doubt. Almost everyone to take on the protector of Gotham City has been the result of fan backlash and doubt and campaigns to get the studio to reconsider only to have that portrayal to be considered iconic and irreplaceable when the poor next guy comes along to take on the Caped Crusader. With Batman entering a new chapter it’s time to look back at everyone whos taken on the night and see how they got there. Who is your Batman through which all other Batmans are judged? Is their Joker important? Let us know in the comments and while you’re there be sure to like and subscribe for the latest videos to your inbox.

Reacher Differences From Tom Cruise’s Movies

Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series is one of the biggest and most popular book series of all times, with them amassing over 100 million readers and having a whopping 24 books in total. The books are so popular that they warranted two movie adaptations starring the one and only Tom Cruise, but although they were overall well received, die hard fans of the books did have their own little nitpicks. With the movies coming to a halt, Child pivoted his creation to the small screen with Amazon picking up the tite and converting it into a TV series. To do this they made a number of changes from what we saw in the movies, and no we are not just talking about casting.

In this video we will take a look at the biggest and most notable differences between the movies and the show and how they both compare to the books. We will discuss how the casting of Ritchson makes for a more book friendly version of the character, how the series is more violent and takes greater ‘risks’, how the character’s traits have changed in the series from what they were in the movies, how the longer run time allows the series to have a better pacing and allow for more character development and plot setup, how the series actually moves away to other books in the franchise, the character backstory, and just some cool general pieces of trivia that may have been of interest to you. This is the biggest differences between the Reacher movies and series!

What did you make of this video? Any differences we missed? Which version of Reacher do you prefer? Let us know in the comments below and make sure to subscribe to the channel today for all this and more!
