8 Actors Before And After They Left Marvel

The MCU is a massive juggernaut of not only big special effects and shocking self-reflection, but also TALENT – specifically, talent in front of the camera. A huge number of Hollywood stars have come and gone from the franchise and with almost-definitely-false rumors of Tom Holland maybe taking a break from his role as everyone’s favorite Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man – seriously, look at all that MONEY – I thought I should take a look at the careers of some of these MCU stars before and after their Marvel-ous tenures with Kevin Feige’s horrifying success juggernaut.

One we’re not likely to see again any time soon, but whom I wouldn’t count out in the long term is Captain America himself, Chris Evans. Will he wind up running a secret SHIELD group on the Moon or some nonsense? MAYBE! Will he show up as a variant version of himself as part of the ongoing Marvel Multiverse Madness? Perhaps! Either which way though, Evans showed up as Cap a total of eleven times if we’re including Loki-as-Cap, following a career as other superheroes like the Human Torch and whatever his character name was in Push. Following his tenure in the MCU, he most notably showed up as Ransom Drysdale in Knives Out and became King of Unexpected Cameos with the one two punch of Free Guy and Don’t Look Up. While he does have a handful of other projects lined up, his next big role is of course as Buzz Lightyear in, well, Lightyear. Keep on cashin’ them Disney checks, Chris. We love ya.

How The Batman Perfects The Batmobile

Have you ever wondered what up with Batman’s sweet ride? The Batmobile is as entwined with the caped crusader as his utility belt and pointy ears. Robert Pattenson will soon be behind the wheel of his own version of the black hot rod, but how did we get to this latest version?

Batmobile superfan Chris Goodmakers explores the history of this automotive icon. What started as a simple red coupe in the comics evolved into Adam West’s red streaked rocket car. From there it changed again to Tim Burton’s sleek noir jet fighter, as iconic as it is gorgeous. Stay with Chris as he mires through the neon soaked Schumacher age, to the modern Tanks of The Dark Knight and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Finally there’s the new hotness, with The Batman and it’s muscle car throwback. Rocket boosts and grappling hook, holy burning rubber Batman it’s all about the Batmobile

Uncharted: Behind The Stunts

Tom Holland has had quite a year when it comes to leading massive action blockbusters, with him following his Spider-Man: No Way Home success as the leading man of the live action adaptation of Uncharted. What makes Holland such a successful leading man is the fact that not only is her charming, affable and a talented actor, but due to his gymnastic and acrobatics background, he is also able to pull off a number of his own stunts – something which he has done as both Spider-Man and Nathan Drake. However, Holland has admitted that the stunts and action sequences in Uncharted were the biggest and hardest he has ever been a part of and that filming the movie basically broke him as it left him with a number of bumps and bruises from either scaling a 30 ft mast or getting hit by a car 17 times.

So, in this video we thought we’d take a look behind the scenes of Uncharted, and in particular the stunts, and how exactly they came to life. We will talk about all of the injuries that not only Holland picked up but his fellow cast members, how Mark Wahlberg managed to get out of doing stunts, how the final battle was brought to life, the amount of production tricks the movie had to implement to pull off some of the biggest action sequences, how one sequence in Barcelona left Holland in considerable pain and how exactly they pulled off that cargo plane sequence which took months to pull off. So let’s go to some Uncharted waters (behind the scenes of Uncharted’s stunts) shall we?

What did you make of the video? Are you a fan of the movie? What was your favorite scene? Let us know in the comments below and make sure to subscribe to the channel for all this and more!

Spider-Man: No Way Home Without CGI

Through an exclusive interview with Visual Effects Supervisor, Scott Edelstein from Digital Domain by Screen Rant’s own Ash Crossan, we got some new info about No Way Home and how the vfx team over at Digital Domain worked on Spidey’s latest adventure. So let’s talk about it. And if you’ve avoided spoilers this long, here’s another warning just in case. Visual Effects is one of my favorite aspects of filmmaking not just because the vfx artists can do things that you don’t see in real life but because even little subtle additions or even subtractions when it comes to painting something out can enhance a movie so much. Let us know in the comments if you want more in depth interviews with industry people to get a better understanding of the behind the scenes magic. I’m biased but I hope we do some of these. Also don’t forget to do all that YouTube stuff like, liking the video, subscribing and hitting the notification bell. Or don’t, I’m not your dad or step dad, I’m just a dad that stepped up. (not actually a dad but you don’t need to know that)
