Behind The Suits Of Spider-Man Movies

No other type of adaptation is so reliant on loo as the comic book movie. Yes Scott, we would prefer yellow spandex you apple polisher. The tug of war between comic book accurate and not something that will look six kinds of ridiculous on camera has been a tough one, right up there with making the superpowers look legit, But once you believed a man could fly, next step is you want to make them look the part. One character that really can’t do the whole ‘alternate look’ thing is your friendly neighborhood Spider-man. Stan Lee always celebrated one of the charms of Spider-man, that once the costume is on, we’re all the ones underneath it. In a world that was dominated by millionaires and the like, even the big science brain of Peter Parker found him selling stealth selfies to get by. Getting the look right is a key part of bringing the wall crawler to life on the big screen. Not only that but ol’ web head has one of the best rogues galleries this side of Batman. Some of those characters are great on screen and some need a little bit of adjustment. Just how much and in what direction can be tricky. Everything could be going right except for a frozen expression helmet or blue CGI skin and the whole illusion is thrown off. Between getting the look right and getting the powers right, it’s a tricky and key part of bringing Spidey to live action. What’s your favorite suit? The Adam Project: 25 Things You Missed

If there’s one thing we can be sure about in life is that nostalgia sells movie tickets, and we have another case of this with Ryan Reynolds’ latest ‘The Adam Project’ which is packed full of 80s movie references and nostalgia (although I should say it sells Netflix subscriptions instead of movie tickets in this case as it went straight to the streaming platform, but you get what I mean). But not only is it a nostalgia fest with quick quips and jokes slung out by the movie’s star, but it also has a great deal of heart and some emotional scenes that hit you deep in the feels. But, because we don’t want to be sobbing through this video, we are going to take a look at the nostalgia and the movie references that appear throughout the course of The Adam Project.

So in this video we will go through 25 things or so that you might have missed in the movie. These will include references to Ryan Reynolds’ (arguably) most notable work, Deadpool, references to other Marvel characters and the MCU as a whole (and how this movie sparked a theory that is taking the internet by storm), references to some of the movies that inspired it such as Back to the Future Part I and II, STar Wars, Star Trek, The Last Starfighter and Terminator, easter eggs for Face/Off, nods to famous scientist, cameos from famous faces and how another superstar actor was very nearly the lead. These are 25 things you missed in The Adam Project.

What did you make of this video? Any we missed? Did you enjoy the movie? Let us know in the comments below and make sure to subscribe to the channel today for all this and more.

The future of the Sonic the hedgehog franchise has never looked brighter. If you guys are fans of the series you know what I’m talking about, sonic has had his rough patches throughout the 2000’s and 2010’s but the 20’s look like it might be the decade of sonic. Might not be the best decade for the rest of the world but at least sonic is doing okay right? Right? Okay but in all seriousness, with the announcement of a third sonic film as well as a knuckles series for paramount plus, we might be witnessing the birth of a mini live action universe for the blue blur. In this video we dive into what exactly we could see in the future of live action sonic in film and tv. We start with some things that are most likely to happen then get into less likely scenarios but still in the realm of possibility.

Behind The Stunts Of MCU Phase 4

The Phase 4 of the MCU is going strong! Black Widow finally got her standalone film released after an awkward point of her character. Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings had some people going “Who?” before watching it and really liking it afterwards. Eternals…existed, and Spider-Man: No Way Home arrived and satisfied mostly everyone’s expectations. People were nervous, but can you blame them?

How could any movie be as hype as either Avengers: Infinity War or Avengers: Endgame? The scale and time put into these movies are probably the biggest it’s ever been: from the characters, overarching plots, but most importantly the action and the stunts. So let’s dive in as to how Marvel upped the ante for their stunts. Spoiler alert for Black Widow, Shang-Chi, Eternals, and Spider-Man: No Way Home!

The Boys Diabolical: 10 Things You Missed

It’s hard to stand out in the crowded world of superhero super adaptations if your not a DC or Marvel character but there’s one adaptation that’s going strong over on Amazon by parodying those very superheroes. Whenever a new superhero movie comes out there’s some noise or nod given to ‘believability’ or that the adaptation is somehow grounded in reality. The problem is that the more ‘realistic Batman’ just starts to be a really rich guy who beats up mental health patients while dressed like a bat, which is crazy itself. And that’s the world that Garth Ennis has created for his parody series where people with superpowers are amoral jerks with deep seated issues. The adaptation up to this point has focused on The 7 but a new animated anthology has given a small group of creators a swing at the Voight Shared Universe with laser babies, useless powers, and a surprisingly touching and complex allegory for cancer and loss from the guy who brought us songs about putting one’s junk in a box or being on a boat. As one would expect the anthology series is full of hidden gems all the way throughout. What did you see when you watched the series? Let us know in the comments and while you’re there be sure to like and subscribe for the latest videos straight to your inbox.
