2010 Mac Mini and iPhone 4 Pre-Order Issues

In this video I go over the refreshed 2010 Mac Mini and the many iPhone 4 preorder issues. First off is the brand new Mac Mini for 2010 which sports several key improvements including a faster Core2Duo processor, a new aluminum unibody design and both a SD card slot as well as a HDMI port. Unfortunately it now costs even more, $100 more than it’s predecessor at $699.

In addition I also go over the many problems people are having preordering the new iPhone 4. The AT&T activation servers have completely gone down resulting in people being stuck with just a 2 year extension to their contract and no new phone to even data breaches in people’s accounts.

Nintendo just finished up their E3 keynote and they did a fantastic job. They showed off several new titles for the Wii but undoubtedly the main focus was on the new Nintendo 3DS, the successor to the hugely popular DS line. It features 3D graphics without glasses, a new 3.5 inch widescreen display as well as a standard touchscreen on the bottom. The 3DS is fully compatible with your current DS and DSi games as well.

Continuing on the 3DS has three cameras, one on the inside and two on the outside. The two outside cameras are for taking 3D pictures which was a major surprise. Now you can take a view your own 3D pictures straight from the 3DS. In addition you can also watch 3D movies on the handheld which is a huge plus. Graphics are also much improved, really bringing the Nintendo 3DS on par with the Wii in terms of graphics. Sadly no release date or price was announced however.

Should I Buy a New Xbox 360?

Earlier today at E3 Microsoft unveiled the new Xbox 360. It’s a major hardware refresh that has brought a new slim case design, a new CPU and GPU combo for better cooling and reliability, integrated 802.11n Wi-Fi, a 250 GB hard drive as well as 5 USB ports and a dedicated Kinect connector. So in this video I go over the full details on the new Xbox 360 as well as pricing for both it as well as the new Kinect controller formerly known as Natal.

The question “Should I buy a new Xbox 360” is probably something a lot of you are wondering so I do my best to explain everything new in the refreshed Xbox 360 as well as if you should buy it if you have a Nintendo Wii, Sony PlayStation 3 or even an original Xbox 360.

http://www.ted.com Michael Shermer says the human tendency to believe strange things — from alien abductions to dowsing rods — boils down to two of the brain’s most basic, hard-wired survival skills. He explains what they are, and how they get us into trouble.

Moments ago there were two big Microsoft Xbox related leaks. The first of which is the renaming of Xbox 360 Natal, which will now be known as Kinect. Kinect looks to be basically the same as the Natal we’ve been seeing for almost a year now but the Xbox 360 Slim is all new. It features a new very slim and angular design along with built in Wi-Fi, a 250 GB hard drive and of course full support for Kinect.

There are of course many Google Android phones such as the upcoming Motorola Droid 2, the HTC Droid Incredible, the HTC EVO 4G among many many more. The question is however, how do they stack up against Apple with iOS 4 and the iPhone 4?

D3Live is a weekly show I do live on BlogTV every weekend (usually on Saturday). If you are interested in calling in live over Skype or just watching the show live, keep an eye out as I will post a video here on YouTube before I begin. http://www.blogtv.com/People/duncan33303
