D3Live: BlackBerry Bold Touch and Torch 9810

In this episode of D3Live I take a look at the BlackBerry Bold Touch and Torch 9810.

Earlier this week a pair of unreleased BlackBerry phones were leaked by BGR, the BlackBerry Bold Touch and the BlackBerry Torch 9810. The Bold Touch 9900 / 9930 is similar to the current RIM BlackBerry Bold with a few key improvements including a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 768MB of RAM and a new battery along with a brand new 2.8 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 640×480.

Next is the BlackBerry Torch 9810 (also known as the Torch 2), the follow up to the original BlackBerry Torch. This is a more minor upgrade with an upgraded 3.7 inch display with a resolution of 480×800 and the same 1.2GHz single core Snapdragon CPU and 768MB of RAM from the Bold Touch.

BlackBerry OS 7 is going to be released alongside both of these smartphones. The release date on both phones is expected to be during this June / July.

D3Live is a weekly show I do live every Saturday at 3PM Eastern time live on BlogTV. If you are interested in asking me questions for the video or just watching the show live keep an eye out as I will post a video here on YouTube before I begin. http://www.blogtv.com/people/duncan33303

iPod touch 5G 128GB Leaked?

I take a look at what could be the iPod touch 5G 128GB.

Yesterday a supposed iPod touch 5G 128GB prototype began making the rounds on the internet. It looks very similar to the iPod touch 4G however with a capacitive touch home button and 128GB of storage. While this could very well be an Apple prototype based on the DVT-1 designation I’m not so sure if this iPod touch 5 is the real deal.
