Aaron O’Connell: Making sense of a visible quantum object

http://www.ted.com Physicists are used to the idea that subatomic particles behave according to the bizarre rules of quantum mechanics, completely different to human-scale objects. In a breakthrough experiment, Aaron O’Connell has blurred that distinction by creating an object that is visible to the unaided eye, but provably in two places at the same time. In this talk he suggests an intriguing way of thinking about the result.

iFaith: Save SHSH Blobs on Any Firmware

In this video I give a full tutorial on how to use iFaith by iH8sn0w. iFaith allows you to save SHSH blobs from the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4G, iPad 1 and Apple TV 2 to be saved locally on your computer as well as online. What makes iFaith special is that it allows you to save the SHSH blobs from any firmware from 3.1.x all the way to the most recent 4.3.3 release of iOS as long as you are still on that firmware. So if you are on a previous version of iOS such as 4.0.1 and need to keep your unlock you can use iFaith to save your SHSH blobs and then restore back to your current firmware whenever you want.

There is a lot to like about Windows 8 on tablets including support for ARM processors such as the Nvidia Tegra 2, a new version of the Metro UI from Windows Phone 7 specific to the Windows 8 tablet edition and much more.

Recently tech website Techhog got their hands on a leaked photo of the supposed Google Nexus 3 made by HTC. The HTC Nexus 3 seems to entirely forgo physical buttons in exchange for onscreen buttons like Android Honeycomb tablets. If true you can look to see the Nexus 3 launched later this year alongside Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
