D3Live: iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5G

Today on D3Live I take a look at the iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5G.

D3Live: iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5G

With WWDC 2011 already come and gone with no iPhone 5 shown everyone has moved on to September for a release date of the iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5G so today on D3Live I roundup what to expect.

The iPhone 5 likely will be a major update in 2011. It is expected to sport an Apple A5 dual-core 1GHz CPU from the iPad 2, a bump to an 8 megapixel camera with possibly 1080p HD video recording, a larger Retina Display of around 3.7 inches as well as a new tapered design similar to the MacBook Air or iPod touch 4G. It’s also very possible to see a 64GB iPhone 5 in addition to the standard 16GB and 32GB iPhone 5 varieties.

Moving on to the next generation 2011 iPod touch 5 there are some of the same changes and specs including the Apple A5 dual-core processor, most likely a bump in RAM / memory, a 640×960 resolution screen sized between 3.5 and 3.7 inches, a better rear facing camera as well as a possible iPod touch 5G 128GB model.

D3Live is a weekly show I do live every Saturday at 3PM Eastern time live on BlogTV. If you are interested in asking me questions for the video or just watching the show live keep an eye out as I will post a video here on YouTube before I begin. http://www.blogtv.com/people/duncan33303
