Cynthia Kenyon: Experiments that hint of longer lives

http://www.ted.com What controls aging? Biochemist Cynthia Kenyon has found a simple genetic mutation that can double the lifespan of a simple worm, C. Elegans. The lessons from that discovery, and others, are pointing to how we might one day significantly extend youthful human life.

TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design, and TEDTalks cover these topics as well as science, business, development and the arts. New Google Music and Store!

Google Music: https://music.google.com

Google Music Store: https://market.android.com/music

In this video I give a hands on tour of the new Google Music along with the Google Music Store inside the Android Market. With Google Music you can upload up to 20,000 songs for free as well as get quite a bit of free music. Google Music is available in your browser (desktop and mobile) as well as a dedicated Android app.

You can also buy music with the new Google Music Store. The selection is reasonable but not perfect just yet and pricing is very similar to iTunes.

Kindle Fire Software Tour

In this video I give a tour of the Amazon Kindle Fire OS software. The Kindle Fire runs a modified version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread but with a Amazon tablet overlay. I go over the apps, books, notifications, how to change volume, the home button, the carosel as well as the dock.
