Michael Anti: Behind the Great Firewall of China

Michael Anti (aka Jing Zhao) has been blogging from China for 12 years. Despite the control the central government has over the Internet — “All the servers are in Beijing” — he says that hundreds of millions of microbloggers are in fact creating the first national public sphere in the country’s history, and shifting the balance of power in unexpected ways.

Michael Anti (Zhao Jing), a key figure in China’s new journalism, explores the growing power of the Chinese internet. Full bio »

Twitter http://twitter.com/duncan33303 Google+ http://gplus.to/duncan33303 Facebook http://www.facebook.com/duncan33303fan

In this video I review the Nexus 7 by Google and Asus. The Nexus 7 is a brand new Android 4.1 Jellybean tablet for only $200 that competes with tablets like the Amazon Kindle Fire and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 inch. With Google Now, a Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core processor, 8GB or 16GB of storage and a 7 inch 1280×800 screen the Nexus 7 is one of the best tablets available, even compared to the iPad.
