How to Make a Mountain Lion Install Drive or DVD
Steps:
1) Open the Mac App Store and purchase the OS X Mountain Lion (20$).
IF you’ve already purchased it, all you need to do is go to the Purchased Tab, in the Mac App Store and download it again. You can do this up to 5 times.
2)After it’s done installing, the Mac OS will automatically open the installer. QUIT it.
3) Open Finder and go to your Applications Folder. Now search for the Mountain Lion installer. Once you’ve found it, right click it-Show Package Contents-Contents-Shared Support and the InstallerESD.dmg file should be there.
4)Open Disk Utility, and drag the InstallerESD.dmg file into the Disk Utility sidebar. From here you can either make a bootable disc by clicking “Burn” or a bootable drive by following the next steps:
5) [Only applies for bootable drives]: You will need a driver with at least 5 GB storage capacity, so an 8GB or a 16GB flash drive will do the job.
6)[OPTIONAL] If you would like to add other data on your USB drive, except the OS Mountain Lion, you will have to partition the drive: go to the Partitions tab in the Disk Utility App and select “2 Partitions”. Format the one which you are going to put the Mountain Lion installer in, as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and click Apply.
7) Now go to the Restore tab in your Disk Utility App and drag the Mac OS X installer into the Source. Once it’s there, simply click Restore and you’re done.
CONGRATULATIONS! You’ve just saved 70$ on a free bootable Mountain Lion drive.

Installing Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8 on my 2011 MacBook Pro, with the help of the Dark Lord: Darth Vader AKA OSXADER.
In a galaxy far far away,
The dark lord of glitches has risen again. Corrupting all the mankind by giving them countless errors while trying to download OS X Mountain Lion.
But wait! There is still some hope.
A young Jedi called “Perseverance” has just been born. It seems that everything is not lost yet.
Young Perseverance Skywalker was defeated by the Dark Lord OSXADER. The only hope for mankind was eradicated.
Now OS X Mountain Lion lays in the hands of the Dark Lord OSXADER.

Apple updated the nano again on September 5, 2007 and made it available the weekend following. The nano now features a 2-inch QVGA (320×240) screen and a shorter, wider, (yet heavier) design, with new colors.
New features include browsing via Cover Flow, a new user interface, video playback, and support for iTunes Store games.
The nano is available in a 4 GB version at US$149 (UK £99.99) coming in silver, and an 8 GB version at US$199 (UK £129.99) coming in silver, turquoise, mint green, black and (Product) Red.

MacBook Pro kernel panic
k, so I was editing this video for YouTube, when suddenly my MBP froze and started making this weird alarm sound. The only way to stop it was to shut down my MacBook Pro from the power button.
This was the 2nd time this has happened. Both of them happened after I upgraded the stock 4gb and 320 HDD to a Samsung 830 SSD 128 GB and 8 GB 1333Mhz Corsair RAM.
The first time it happened, I thought it was from the CPU/GPU overheating, because I was exporting 4 1080 movies at the same time. Now, the CPU was barely used. I was only editing a video in iMovie 11, and since the 1st incident I bought a Cooling Pad that I was using at the moment, when my 2nd incident happened.
Any idea what is causing this? My guess is the RAM but has anyone encountered such a problem? Please help me.
