Comparing the iPad 3’s Retina display with the iPad 2 standard display technology

The iPad 3, also known as “The New iPad” was released in March of 2012, and features a brand new Retina Display among other break-trough features that I am going to talk about in future videos.

The Retina Display:

The highest 9.7 inch display resolution on the planet. The new iPad’s screen has a 2048 by 1536 resolution display, which believe me…its incredible. It’s also an IPS screen as the old iPad screens, meaning that you get a viewing angle of 178 degress. Besides the resolution improvement, you also get a 40% better color gamut.

iPhone 4 4S Bumper Case Review

Ok, so this is the 2nd generation also known as the revised Apple Bumper Case.

Apple released a 2nd generation Bumper case, back in early 2011 shortly after the release of the iPhone 4 CDMA version.

The CDMA version of the iPhone 4, also known as the “Verizon iPhone 4” had a redesigned antenna which resulted in the mute switch being positioned slightly lower than on the original iPhone 4. This resulted in an incompatible Apple Bumper case.

So this is basically the reason why Apple released a 2nd generation Bumper Case. The new version now works on both the original iPhone 4 and the CDMA iPhone, as well as the iPhone 4S (which has the exact same antenna design as the CDMA iPhone 4).

The only difference aside from the bigger mute cut-out is the box. The box now has a white background instead of the old grey one, and the Apple logo has now moved to the top instead of being in the middle as it was on the old box design.

The price remains the same: 29$

Apple iPhone 4S Unboxing and Tour

The iPhone 4S was launched in October of 2011, and was announced a day before Steve Jobs death 🙁

Is has the exact same design as the last year’s iPhone 4, BUT the internals are all brand new.

First of all, the iPhone 4S uses the Apple A5 dual core 1Ghz CPU (underclocked at 800 Mhz to preserve battery life), compared to the 1Ghz (again undercloked at 800 Mhz) single core Apple A4 CPU used in the iPhone 4. Besides the CPU, the GPU is also dual core meaning that you get 7x the performance of the iPhone 4, in therms of graphics.

The RAM memory has been upgraded from 256mb to 512mb, and now you can also purchase the 64GB iPhone model.

The 2nd big improvement aside from the increase in speed, is Siri, which is basically your personal assistant. You can ask Siri general things like the weather, random facts, alarm set, music play and much more.

And finally the 3rd big improvement is the camera. The iPhone 4S now features an 8Mp sensor which has been upgraded from the stock 5Mp found in the iPhone 4. But the biggest improvement is the fact that the iPhone 4S utilises ENTIRELY different optics. So Apple has designed a custom-made lens just for the iPhone 4S. It has a lens aperture of 2.4f meaning that more light can be captured be the camera. Also, the backside illumination sensor has been massively improved which translates to better low light photographs.
