Gangstar: West Coast Hustle Application Review

Gangstar is a really ambitious Grand Theft Auto style game for the iPhone and iPod touch, and by and large it definitely delivers. Graphics are nothing short of excellent, the open world is fluid and fun to explore and even the controls aren’t too shabby. Even a clichéd story and occasional glitches aren’t enough to do much more than slightly blemish the game. Easily one of the most fun and addicting games I’ve played in a while.

Windows 7: Taskbar

Now that I’ve used Windows 7 for a bit, it’s time for me to start my series of videos on all the ins and outs of it. The first video is about the Taskbar, which has been totally overhauled and now includes some features similar to OS X. I’m certainly a big fan of it.

This is a test of each of the five main browsers, Firefox 3.5, Internet Explorer 8, Opera 10 (beta 3), Chrome 2 and Safari 4. None is the definite winner, however. For some, Safari’s speed and great looks will make it the best choice. For others, Chrome’s sleek interface and blazing speed will make it the best. You might like Firefox and it’s decent speed and fantastic add ons. Perhaps Opera and it’s uniqueness will suit you best? Or even IE 8 and it’s Accelerators and support for older web pages might be best for you.

I tried not to focus only on speed like I did with my last test and include some more personal tests such as the interface, memory useage and ease of use. Hopefully you will find this video helpful!

Nina Jablonski breaks the illusion of skin color

http://www.ted.com Nina Jablonski says that differing skin colors are simply our bodies’ adaptation to varied climates and levels of UV exposure. Charles Darwin disagreed with this theory, but she explains, that’s because he did not have access to NASA.
