geoDefense Swarm is the sequel to the highly regarded tower defense game geoDefense. It combines some really spectacular graphics from the original with some very challenging, strategic gameplay. While it doesn’t take any major steps forward for the genre, it’s certainly fun and worth $0.99 if you like tower defense games.

Blades of Fury is one of the most promising looking games for the iPod touch and iPhone yet. While it’s largely a Soul Calibur rip-off, that doesn’t detract from the game at all. It meshes excellent graphics with fun gameplay and tons of potential in the form of multiplayer. All in all, a highly recommended application.
