On this episode of Ignition, Jonny Lieberman travels to Germany to drive a car we don’t get, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507 Wagon. Through the winding roads of the Black Forest to the mean straights of Germany’s notorious Autobahn, Lieberman puts the 507 horsepower, 450 pound-feet of torque super wagon through its paces. The question isn’t whether or not a wagon fanatic like Lieberman likes the 507 wagon (he does), but if the new AMG grocery hauler can live up to the legend that came before it, the mighty Hammer Wagon.

By now every car lover knows who Carroll Shelby was, but what makes his cars so great? To find out, we headed to the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California, where the Shelby American Automobile Club was holding its annual Shelby Convention. We talked with racers and collectors, and got a chance to ride in a GT40 with a man who raced for Shelby back in the days, High Performance Driving School founder, Bob Bondurant. We also were on hand for the debut of the newly restored Essex Wire Cobra, one of the winningest big block Cobras ever to compete. We also take a look at what makes driving these cars special, and why people come from all over the world to see them in person, and hear them on the track.

Red Bull Bomb The Line 2013 crowned the new king of the famous Baustelle of Berlin. Alec Majerus won the world’s only best-line-skate-contest at one of the best European streetspots with an incredible line.

The formula of Red Bull Bomb The Line stays true to last year’s successful principle: Every skater has to clear the famous double-set, a kicker gap and the eight-stair with the rail at the end of the Baustelle in one single line. Check out the best lines from the event!
