UPDATE: Jim Patterson’s 1932 Isotta Fraschini has just been named “Best of Show” at this year’s 65th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Congratulations!

Motor Trend’s Angus MacKenzie talks to owner Jim Patterson about his 1932 Isotta Fraschini, an Italian car with a Swiss body and a huge 8 liter engine that originally showed at the 1932 Paris Auto Show. It’s one of the longest and most impressive vehicles in the running for “Best of Show” at this year’s 65th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

2015 Tour d’Elegance: Automotive Art in Motion – Pebble Beach Week

Motor Trend’s Jonny Lieberman gives us a peek at the 2015 Tour d’Elegance. Initiated to showcase the elegance of the automobile in motion, the Tour also underscores the early history of the place that is Pebble Beach. Decades before golf links were laid out along the edge of the Pacific Ocean, this area was known for its scenic drive, winding for miles through the pine and cypress forest, dancing alongside dramatic cliffs and leading, ultimately, to a beautiful crescent-shaped bay.

Shelby GT350: A Carroll Shelby Legacy – Pebble Beach Week

One of the classes at this year’s 65th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Shelby GT350.

The Shelby GT350 was the result of a unique collaboration between the Ford Motoring Company and Carroll Shelby. Starting in 1965 in a factory in Southern California, Shelby took semi-compleeted Mustangs and boosted them from 271 to 306 horsepower, mated that to a close ratio transmission from his Cobra, and added heavy duty suspension parts and a fiberglass hood.

The Shelby GT350 featured in this video is a great barn find that was originally sold by Galpin Ford and has made its way back to the dealership. Motor Trend’s Angus MacKenzie stops by Galpin Ford to admire this rare example of an untouched original.
