GoPro for a Cause and Kindhumans teams up with the non-profit High Fives Foundation to tell the inspiring story of adaptive skiers Roy Tuscany and Trevor Kennison.

The High Fives Foundation is not slowing down anytime soon; and neither are Roy or Trevor for that matter. The Foundation continues to grow, hosting adaptive camps, helping and mentoring athletes nationwide with recovery and educating the youth. Meanwhile, Trevor keeps pushing boundaries for what is possible in a sit-ski and is training for the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo.

These two prove that even though “spinal injuries suck,” the beauty is in the attitude.

Here’s our Polestar 1 review. The Polestar 1 is an unusual car, this subsidiary of Geely/Volvo creating the car originally as the Volvo Concept Coupe.

But then Polestar was spawned as a brand in its own right, and Volvo’s design director – and Autocar award winner – Thomas Ingenlath installed as its CEO. The Volvo Concept Coupe was rebranded and recreated as the Polestar 1 and becomes Polestar’s first production car.

Built in China, the Polestar 1 will be followed by other Polestar models – imaginatively named 2 and so on – but while they will be pure EVs, the 1 is a plug-in hybrid.

It’s bewilderingly complex: it has a 2.0-litre engine in the front which is both turbocharged and supercharged, and which is augmented by an electric motor. Then there are two more electric motors at the rear, to provide a total power output of more than 600bhp.

Day 5 recap. It’s Friday, and that means our Week To Wicked project was finished today! When we left off last night, the Derale crew had just left to modify the fan shroud in order for it to fit the tight confines of the engine compartment with the supercharger bolted in place, and they came back this morning to install the BeCool radiator with the Derale fan and shroud. While that was going on, TMI Products delivered the new front and re-upholstered rear seats, dash pad, and door panels and installed them.

The moment of truth came once the fuel system was primed and all the fluids were in. As we all made bets on how many cranks it would take to fire, Mark turned the key and the engine barked to life on the first revolution, to a round of applause from all of us in the shop.

Cars exist for many purposes.Some are built for work, others for play. On this episode of Roadkill’s Junkyard Gold, Steve Magnante explores a pair of workhorses in the forms of a 1952 Chrysler Crown Imperial limousine and a 1957 Chevy 150 Series handyman’s station wagon. But you know what they say about all work and no play. That’s why Magnante visits a 1965 Chevy Mailbu SS and a 1971 Plymouth Road Runner. With the Chevelle’s four-speed transmission and the Road Runner’s “beep-beep” horn, these cars offered pure, unadulterated fun when they were new. Day 4 recap. Every project car build has glorious, dramatic days—dropping the engine in place, paint, that sort of thing—but they also have days of small details that are completely void of glamour, but mandatory nonetheless. Most of the day was installing the little stuff under the hood, such as the windshield washer tank, some wiring, etc. The radiator is larger than stock so it took some ingenuity to make it both fit under the hood and clear the Vortech supercharger.

The Derale crew also installed the transmission cooler (after making the cooler lines) and air conditioning condenser. Tomorrow is when the real fun starts. On tap for Day 5 is finishing the cooling system, installing the wheels and tires, TMI will be here to install their custom front and rear seats, the Pioneer stereo will go in, and the Dakota Digital dash will be installed. Then it’s fluids and a few last-minute details and it’s start and drive time! #WeekToWicked #Mustang

Day 3 recap. We stayed a little bit later than usual last night here in the Santa Ana shop, making sure all of the Maximum Motorsports suspension was installed and dialed in, then spent the first half of today dressing the Ford Performance Parts X302E 302ci crate engine with its accessories and the Vortech supercharger.

With the engine and trans in place, it was time to install the complete Pypes bolt-on exhaust system. Once the exhaust was buttoned up, we set the rear end at right height to measure for the driveshaft length. Check back in tomorrow when we dive inside the car and install the interior, gauges, stereo and more. #WeekToWicked #Mustang
