Hidden Figures stars Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monáe join Producer Pharrell Williams to celebrate their upcoming film at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 10th, 2016. Following an exclusive footage presentation with Q&A, Pharrell Williams and Lalah Hathaway surprised fans with an outdoor concert – performing songs from the Hidden Figures Original Soundtrack.

HIDDEN FIGURES is the incredible untold story of Katherine G. Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe)—brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanized the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.

At Night, This Bus Doubles As a Homeless Shelter | Short Film Showcase

Line 22 is the only bus route that runs 24 hours a day in Silicon Valley. At night, homeless people have made it their informal shelter in an effort to avoid sleeping on the street. This situation is in stark contrast with the image filmmaker Elizabeth Lo had of Silicon Valley, which is why, in the course of a week, she joined them on the bus line. “Hotel 22” is a poignant Op-Doc video that captures a crude reality of homelessness that may have gone unseen.
