E3 is one of the coolest things to happen to video games. It gives us the opportunity to join in with fellow gamers and express our communal excitement in an awesome convention. This is the place where they tell us all about the latest games and what’s in store. What could be better than that ? How about telling us about some news we’ve all been waiting for? Well, if you love fantasy, adventure, Sephiroth, Cloud, and all of the Final Fantasy characters, we have great news. There is in fact a remake of the classic Final Fantasy VII video game. Nerds everywhere rejoice!

The original game was released in the 90s and we know a lot has changed since then. Consoles and technology have evolved, the times are changing. SO what updates will they have? What will they keep?

We aren’t sure yet but we do have some suggestions of things they should definitely get rid of. Like the character Genesis, why is he even there? Also the lack of using Yuffie and Vincent. Let’s give them a more major role in this game. There definitely needs to be an improvement on the animation, needless to say. The chocobo mini game needs to be fun. Worst of all, the weird juxtaposition of the snowboard game after Aerith’s passing needs to be placed elsewhere, talk about lack of sensitivity. We can all agree that the Hojo beach party is a bit too awkward to say the least, we hope that gets fixed, it’s just too funny. But one thing we hope most of all is that they fix that ending, do you agree? This amazing franchise deserves a much better ending.
