Video games have come a long way since the analog days of the past. Instead of getting the high score, it is all the experience and the story. Video games have adapted to the art of storytelling and have developed sweeping narratives and characters that have stuck with us throughout the years. However, there have been some games that have not gotten it down quite yet. Let’s look at some of the games that have some glaring plot holes that we just can’t help but draw attention to. We talk about Bioshock and the life of Jack and how he may have survived until being called back to Rapture. We will look at one of the most famous and meme-able moments in Final Fantasy 7 where Cloud ran out of phoenix downs right as Aeris dies. We ask the question; how did Jack from Red Dead Redemption get so good at shooting stuff in three short years. What do Ethan’s blackouts mean in Heavy Rain? Seriously I don’t even think the developers know. In a world of radiation, who can we depend on to save the world? Maybe a radiation resistant super mutant who we befriend and have us fight at our side? Nah don’t be ridiculous. Does it make sense for the Locust Queen to be a humanoid woman instead of a freaky alien geo monster? I have no idea, but these are just some of the plot holes we will be looking at. Don’t forget to subscribe to The Gamer so you can catch up on more exciting videos on the games you love.

Today, we’ll be looking at some anime shows and parts of them that ruined the show.
Brock’s departure from the Pokemon television series was a little bit of a let down and Tracey didn’t do the best job of filli ng in for him. To see a wandering samurai not want to use his sword for killing anymore makes for a compelling story like in Rurouni Kenshin but the third season was a huge letdown. When Goku changes back into a kid in Dragonball GT it was confusing and a little strange. Like a lot of anime series, they are adaptations from manga and certain things are left out. Tokyo Ghoul is no stranger to this and we are left with a lot of missing plot points and the chronological order of the show is very haphazard. Could you watch basically the same thing over and over again for eight episodes? That is what happens in the series The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. In Naruto Shippuden there was a whole lot of content thrown into a show with limited amounts of time and we saw too many antagonists. The Death of “L” in Death Note was bound to happen but when his successors took over for him the show lost a lot of what it had going for it. The Bleach series gave us way too much filler, like almost half of it was and it kind of stunk. When Sword Art Online went to ALFheim Online and Asuna changed from being a warrior to a damsel in distress, the show became kind of lame. Well, that’s all we have for you folks today.
