Discover how Rene Perez, AKA Residente, evolved from struggling art student into the founder of Latin America’s most influential rap group, Calle 13, and became one of Latin America’s most outspoken critics of injustice and corruption. Inspired after mapping out his DNA, Residente left the group at the peak of its success to embark on a new project through Siberia, the Caucasus, China and West Africa in order to trace the footsteps of his ancestors. Music becomes the primary focus, framing each destination and informing every conversation.

Near the city of Hangzhou, the river abruptly widens into a bay. An incoming tide gets funneled up the river, concentrating its force at the bottleneck. Especially pronounced waves come with a full moon, like the one that marks China’s Mid-Autumn Festival, when thousands of people gather to see this “Silver Dragon,” the world’s largest tidal bore.

Not only can do you all sorts of things in the world of Minecraft, but you can set records while doing it. Some records are fast and easy to break while others require a lot of time and skill. Many times, these insane records are never really worth your time.

Hooking up a lever to a door is one of the first basic things you learn when creating a Minecraft building, but one player decided to create the most doors that open using just a single lever. Riding pigs is fun, but one player took it to great lengths by riding a pig for a record distance. If you want to spend hours in the darkness and seeing the same surroundings, then you can attempt to beat the record for the longest Minecraft tunnel. Why build the longest staircase when you can easily hover up to any point you want in the game?! Surviving a fall requires a lot of skill and one player took falling to new heights by surviving. Building a Minecraft house takes a lot of work, especially if you take the time to build the LARGEST one ever seen in the game. Minecraft is an essentially endless world and one player took a journey that lasted for miles and miles. Another long journey can be made on the longest railroad ever build in Minecraft. If you’re interested in railroads, then hop in one of the Minecraft boats and go for a ride. Getting hurt in Minecraft is nothing to brag about, but one player did set the record for the most lifetime damage. Here are 10 dumb Minecraft world records nobody should try to break.
