If recent rumours are to be believed, Disney – who, of course, own Marvel Studios – could be looking to purchase Fox, which would potentially allow the characters from the likes of the X-Men and Fantastic Four movies to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe which, in turn, would allow the likes of Wolverine, Deadpool, Reed Richards, Susan Storm, Professor X, Magneto, Mystique, Doctor Doom, the Silver Surfer and Galactus to interact with the likes of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Loki, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Captain Marvel, Rocket, Groot, Doctor Strange and Black Panther. How cool would that be?! The problem is, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is already nine years and seventeen movies deep, so smoothly integrating certain characters into the franchise (who should really have been introduced already if they exist there) could be difficult – particularly in the case of mutants. So how could it possibly happen? Well, this video is going to discuss just that. It could be instigated in either the MCU itself or in the X-Men franchise. It could be triggered by an item of power or by a powerful character. It might just happen via a portal linking the two universes. Regardless of how it happened, it would be awesome! The possibilities would be almost endless and some dream character interactions could happen in live action – both in terms of team-ups and indeed in terms of conflicts. Thanos is coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. You’d need to have been living in a cave for the past half-decade to be unaware of that! In fact, the Mad Titan has already made three appearances in the franchise to date – in the mid-credits scene of 2012’s The Avengers, in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and in the mid-credits scene of 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. His ship – Sanctuary II – was also seen in the mid-credits scene of the more recent Thor: Ragnarok. Played by Josh Brolin, Thanos will, of course, be making his first major appearance in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War movie, in which he will be the main antagonist – and he’ll also be joined by his Black Order henchmen and will be wielding the Infinity Stones, which will be nicely placed in the Infinity Gauntlet. Having control over reality, space, time, power, soul and mind will mean he’s essentially going to be God, so defeating him will be tough to say the least. The combined forces of the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy and characters who aren’t yet members of either team (like Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Bucky Barnes, Ant-Man etc) will be needed to combat him – but even that conglomerate will have it tough! So, how will the Mad Titan be defeated? This video will discuss some theories about that! What do you think will ultimately be the manner of the cosmic villain’s demise in the MCU?

The Star Wars universe has expanded well beyond the movie franchise throughout the years. Comic books, novels and television shows have all showcased the expansion of a galaxy far, far, away. There is also a whole genre of original video games dedicated to the Star Wars universe. As Disney branches out to create all types of Star Wars movies, there is plenty of content from video games they can use.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed not only introduced a new Jedi character, but the game series showcased some crazy new ways to use the force. Star Wars 1313 is a canceled video game from LucasArts that would have pushed the boundaries when it came to violence and story. The game would make a great story following the life of a bounty hunter. One of the most involved and detailed video game stories is the prequel known as Knights of the Old Republic. The third Star Wars Jedi Knight game focuses on the Jedi Academy and the training world would make a great feature film that shows the rise of a young student. One of the expansion packs released for The Old Republic was the Rise of the Hutt Cartel. It’s about time the Hutts get their own feature film. In Knights of the Force, a special Darth Maul mission follows his time as the leader of the Black Sun criminal syndicate. One of Star War’s silliest games is Star Wars Demolition, but the backstory behind the game has a lot of potential to create a gritty action film and adventure story. Watch to all how all seven games could be adapted into movies!
