There are a number of reasons games should be banned like excessive violence, nudity or offensive language, but we feel even the best reason for a ban should have an explanation. We’re also not certain the government should be in charge of banning games because sometimes they do it for silly reasons. We can see where game ratings come in to help eliminate children from getting their hands on games not suitable for them, but should adults have restrictions on video games too?

No matter which side of the coin you’re on in politics, sometimes the government thinks they have their citizens’ best interest at heart. And sometimes, it feels like they’re eliminating the freedom of choice when they ban games. Harmless games like EA Sports MMA which had one scene showing a pair of pants with an energy drink supplier was banned by Denmark. The country outlawed marketing of energy drinks, which included through video games as well, and neither EA or Denmark budged which meant the game was outright banned and not accessible to the country. Talk about taking stubbornness to a new extreme. Even Football Manager 2005 had a whole myriad of problems, but China banned the game for showing Tibet and Taiwan as independent countries. It’s okay, they also banned Pokemon Go for security concerns and Command and Conquer: Generals for showing their military in a negative light. The gaming companies need to stop bringing dishonor and getting outright banned in the country.

Then again, it seems pretty impossible to make everyone happy and there are a lot of rules which apply to video games in other countries. Join us as we take a look at these harmless games that were banned around the world!

There has long been a literary theory that there are only seven basic plots, and that does explain why there are so many films with similar stories. Sometimes though, these similarities pass this point, and it becomes pretty reasonable to say that the plots have been stolen, or at the very least heavily inspired by something else. We do think that the word stolen can come across a bit too strong for a few of these, so we’re going to look at it as ‘taken’ and ‘inspired by’, as at Screen Rant we take a look at ten animated films that stole their plots.

Inside Out is currently the focus of a lawsuit, after Denise Daniels claimed they took the idea from a pilot she pitched them based on her characters The Moodsters. That isn’t the only time that Disney has come under fire though, as they also had a lawsuit filed against them for stealing the idea behind Zootopia.

As well as this, we take a look at how Antz and A Bug’s Life came to be due to a lot of competition and sour feeling between Disney and DreamWorks.

We also look at a couple of ‘mockbuster’ movies, like Chop Kick Panda and Tappy Toes, which were produced to get in on the success of Kung Fu Panda and Happy Feet.

There are also a couple of animated movies which took their inspiration from films and comic books aimed at adults, such as Cars, The Incredibles and Wreck-It Ralph, which are inspired by Doc Hollywood, Watchmen, and, would you believe it, Taxi Driver.

2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy movie was one of the most pleasant cinematic surprises in recent memory.
The idea of a space-based band of heroic Marvel misfits – including a walking tree and a talking raccoon – being so popular with a commercial movie audience was unprecedented, but the movie grossed $773 million worldwide and was universally praised by both movie fans and critics alike.
Like any Marvel movie worth its salt these days, a heck of a lot of work went into it – and in this video we’ll take a look at some of the things that went on behind the scenes and away from the movie we actually saw.
Those things are; that Vin Diesel had to say “I am Groot” more than 1000 times, exactly how Groot was made, exactly how Rocket was made, that Dave Bautista’s Drax make-up took five hours to apply every single day, exactly what Chris Pratt went through to get in shape for his role as Star-Lord, the fact that Robert Downey Jr. almost cameoed as Iron Man, the fact that there was almost a Darth Vader Easter egg in the form of an action figure, the fact that a plethora of big name actors auditioned for the role of Peter Quill AKA Star-Lord, that Chris Pratt and Dave Bautista spent two-and-a-half months preparing for a fight scene that never happened, and the fact that there were a load of great deleted scenes that nearly all found their way on to the internet.
