Just like Mr. DNA says in the first movie, Jurassic Park is “in our blood.” We’re now on our fifth installment in the franchise and the cloned dino-terrors don’t seem to be slowing down. In fact, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom goes to great lengths to set up a sequel that just might be the dinosaur version of the Planet of the Apes that we didn’t even know we needed. But until a third Jurassic World film comes to theaters, let’s mull over all the prehistoric monsters and insane chase scenes that we’ve encountered in the latest film. Unfortunately, this movie doesn’t get by without us noticing some glaring plot holes and stunning lapses of logic. Of all the problems one might find in this sequel, here are 5 things about Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom that fail to make any sense whatsoever.

So join ScreenRant as we return to Isla Nublar with some familiar faces and a ton of new characters. We’ll examine the fossils of the Indominus Rex under the microscope to get a better understanding of why it’s bones didn’t seem to decay. We’ll put on our lab coats and play amateur volcanologists to see whether the volcano on Isla Nublar acted realistically. Family Guy might be a beloved show, but we’re willing to bet even its most devoted fans will admit Peter and Lois Griffin have a pretty messed up relationship. Throughout the years, they’ve stuck by one another through thick and thin, forgiving and forgetting countless times, and relying on love to get them through. But in some instances, the things they’ve put each other through reveal a darker, more disturbing insight into their marriage.

Peter and Lois have tried to make things work with counseling, but Lois’s attempt to mend their problems with this method ends up backfiring on her. Lois’s sketchy past has thrown their marriage for a loop time and time again. Not only has she been thrown in prison, she has a reputation for getting around with famous rock stars. It doesn’t help that their infant son is constantly looking for new ways to murder his mother, or that Lois has been married to both the Griffins’ neighbor Quagmire and their dog Brian. Of course, Peter’s brief fling with former President Bill Clinton (not to mention his affair with a cardboard cutout of Kathy Ireland) hasn’t helped anything. Their terrible parenting skills are unparalleled with Peter injecting his son with steroids in addition to Lois hooking up with Meg’s boyfriend. And then there’s the horrifying realization that all the stress Peter puts Lois through has ended up giving her a brain tumor.

While Peter and Lois might stick together because they love each other, the fact is there’s a lot about their marriage that’s really messed up. If you want to learn more about why, you don’t want to miss this video.
