Superman Exists In Sony’s Venom Universe – What Does It Mean?

When Venom was announced and went into production, many fans were anticipating a lot more than just a stand alone movie. Because of Sony’s connection with Spider-Man in the MCU, many were expecting the same treatment for Venom, but this was not the case. Venom stands on his own, without the Tom Holland version of Spider-Man and many fans were disappointed not to see the two characters collide.

But was there a whole different kind of connection in Sony’s Venom?! Was the company so fed up with the MCU that they branched out into another cinematic universe?! Of course, we’re talking about Superman here — but does Henry Cavill really appear in Venom?! Well, it’s a little more complicated than that, but not completely out of the realm of possibility. We’ve seen crossovers like this in the past and taking steps to do it in the movies can go a long way. Venom’s character reveals some secrets about its weaknesses and the character uses his super buddy as a way to describe them. Even if you’ve seen the movie, you may have missed the brief moment. Of course, Spider-Man does also make an appearance in the film, but in a much different way. By watching the post-credits scene, you can see an exclusive clip of Miles Morales and Peter Parker in the newest Spider-Man animated film. The clip acts as a post-credits scene in a whole different universe than the Venom movie — so does Venom have more of a chance of appearing in the DCEU than the MCU?! Watch to find out, learn about the moment, and what exactly it means for the future of Venom movies!

Facebook adverts target Remain areas of the UK ahead of people’s vote march

Ahead of the People’s Vote march, Sky News has learned how Remain campaigners are vastly outnumbering leave groups with the number of online adverts they are posting.

Facebook ads have been specifically targeting certain areas of the UK to drum up support for the march.

Mission to Mercury: Blast-off for UK-built spacecraft BepiColombo

Mercury has long been the least explored planet in our solar system, but that could be about to change thanks to a British-built spacecraft.

Overnight the European Space Agency launched its first mission to the planet.

It’s called BepiColombo and will take up to seven years to get there.

Sky’s science correspondent Thomas Moore has this report looking at its epic five billion mile journey.

Saudi Arabia: Journalist Jamal Khashoggi killed at consulate in Turkey

International pressure is building on Saudi Arabia after the kingdom confirmed Jamal Khashoggi’s death.

State television has reported that the journalist died after a fight broke out inside its consulate in Istanbul.

The fallout has been far-reaching with 18 Saudi nationals arrested and a senior aide to the Crown Prince has been sacked.

The question now is, how does the world respond? President Trump has said he wants to speak with the Saudi authorities again before imposing any sanctions.

What we do know, is that the Saudis version of events has dramatically changed since Mr Khashoggi disappeared over a fortnight ago.
