If there’s any one thing that separates a good action game from a bad one, it’s the weapons. And there are SO MANY good ones, that we spent a good solid week arguing over which ones might make this top 10 list.

Ultimately the matter had to be decided through trial-by-combat. Of those of us that survived, these were our picks for the 10 most iconic video game weapons of all time.
