It’s time to separate the PlayStation 5 facts from fiction. Over the last few months, all we’ve heard are rumors about the PS5. We have to admit, they got us very excited, but now we finally heard what Sony had to say about the console after months of nothing. We learned about the Solid State Drive that’s going to be in the console as well as the CPU, GPU and what Sony has planned in terms of 3D audio. While we didn’t get any confirmation as to whether or not that futuristic design leak is true, we got plenty of useful information about the next generation console.

We heard all about the PS5 leaks. It’s supposed to have a futuristic V-shape design. It’s supposed to cost around 500 bucks. It’s supposed to have an 8-core AMD CPU and a custom Radeon Navi GPU, capable of producing 9.2 teraflops. It’s also supposed to have a SSD with anywhere between 512GBs of storage to 1TB as well as 3D audio support. While a lot of these rumors were spot on, it turns out that some of them were completely false and we’re still waiting for more info from Sony before we confirm or deny the others.
