عاشوراء [ يوم عظيم. أنجى الله فيه موسى وقومه. وغرق فرعون وقومه.] وهذا تصوير وتخيل لما حدث في هذا اليوم ولكن يظل بالنهايه غير الواقع تماماً ولكن للتقريب من الامر العظيم اللذي حدث .. لهذا السبب امر الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم بصيامة
وعن عبد اللَّه بن عباس رضي اللَّه عنهما قال: ” قدم رسول اللَّه صلى الله عليه وسلم المدينة فرأى اليهود تصوم يوم عاشوراء، فقال: ما هذا؟ قالوا: هذا يوم صالح، نجّى اللَّه فيه موسى وبني إسرائيل من عدوهم، فصامه، فقال: أنا أحق بموسى منكم فصامه وأمر بصيامه” .
وفي رواية: ” فصامه موسى شكراً، فنحن نصومه” .
وفي رواية أخرى: ” فنحن نصومه تعظيماً له” .
أخرجه البخاري (4/244) ح(2004) ، ومسلم (1130)، وأبو داود (2/426) (ح2444) ، وابن ماجه (1/552) ح(1734) ، والبيهقي (4/286).
