World most extreme kayaker Tao Berman (USA) together with the Andrassys brothers will explore a new dreamscape of Cold Creek in High Tatras. This particular location is strictly guarded as it is a part of TANAP (TAtra NAtional PArk) which is why nobody is allowed to access the river. UNTIL NOW!
Iba niekoľko týždňov v roku, keď sa topia ľady a sneh v našich veľhorách, sa hladina Studeného potoka zdvihne a z malého potôčika sa stane poriadne divoká riava. To inšpirovalo najlepších slovenských extrémnych kajakárov bratov Tomáša a Pavla Andrássyovcov na expedíciu tohto doteraz neprebádaného vodného toku. Na pomoc si prizvali azda toho najpovolanejšieho na svete, držiteľa niekoľkých rekordov a celosvetovo uznávaného extrémneho kajakára. Američan Tao Berman už vskutku mnoho preskákal a prepádloval v divokých vodách. Staré vodácke porekadlo vraví: ,,Každý správny vodák si musí odplávať svoje kilometre”.
Teda nielen v bezpečí lode, ale aj pár plaveckých temp sa občas vyskytne.
Pri predstave plaveckých zážitkov vo vodopádoch Studeného potoka však prechádza mráz po chrbte. Iba tí najlepší sa odvážia na prvosplav.
Dôkladné preskúmanie terénu, aj niekoľkohodinové sledovanie vodných prúdov a vírov, zabezpečenie záchranárov na brehu i vo vode, už len odraz, pár záberov pádlom a maximálne sústredenie na nástrahy trate.
