Luge boarding in Bulgaria – Red Bull Lagernica 2012
Anywhere a slope is encountered on the face of the earth, people figure out a way to ride down it. The same thing happened in Sofia, Bulgaria. At the event Red Bull Lagernica, aka “luge boarding”, the locals did just that. Watch them race to see who can cross the finish line first.
годишният Росен Спартянов от София е новият Крал на Red Bull Лагерница! След оспорвана двучасова надпревара на столичния булевард Христо Смирненски негови подгласници станаха Иван Димитров и Калоян Петров. Росен преодоля всички четири етапа и обезокуражи съперниците си на финала с наистина шампионска скорост и завидни умения за управление на самоделната си лагерница. Нестандартната надпревара с лагерници във формат „4-cross” се проведе за втора поредна година. 200-метровото трасе се оказа непреодолима пречка за повече от половината състезатели, чиито лагерници не издържаха на състезателното темпо. Освен овациите на публиката и солидната фенска група, Росен отнесе и голямата награда на тазгодишното състезание — посещение в бокса на Red Bull Racing по време на Гранд При на Унгария през юли.

Jeremy Clarkson vs ‘The Brutus’ Bomber BMW (TOP GEAR)
Relive the insta-classic TOP GEAR moment from Monday’s episode when Jeremy Clarkson recreated the Battle of Britain – and faced off against a car called “The Brutus,” a flame-spitting retro BMW.
“The Brutus” combines a 46-liter BMW v12 engine, originally used to power a bomber plane, with a chassis from a 1906 New York fire engine – and brakes that, “well, they exist only in the imagination of the madman who built this thing!”
Watch as Jezza takes this “extraordinary creation” out for a spin. “Almost immediately, ‘The Brutus’ began to spit hot oil into my face, and that was just the start of my problems!”
