The unboxing of the Apple AirPort Express [1st gen]

The 1st generation was released in 2008 and has only been revised in June 2012. The 1st generation Apple AirPort Express is a b/g/n router, but the actual “n” support was added in late 2010. Until then, the router only had “draft n” support, which is basically an unfinished version of “n”.

What sets this router apart from the other ones, is the 3 main features of this device:

-extremely easy and quick setup
-print wirelessly from any device (including your iPhone/iPad/iPod or any device that features a wireless connection)
-listen to music wirelessly from anywhere you are in your home (AirPlay).

The router has an LED indicator light, which can blink amber or show a solid amber/green, depending on the status of your device.

Price: 99$ (as of August 2012)

In June 2012, Apple released a redesigned AirPort Express router, which featured a Apple TV like design(except the colour which is white). The new AirPort Express features a dual-band technology with speeds of up to 5GHz/s.

الملك المغربي يردّ على منتقدي تقبيل يديه: يمنع المدنيين ويسمح للعسكريين

أقدم الملك محمّد السّادس على الردّ بـ “طريقته الخاصّة” على منتقدي تقبيل يديه بروتوكوليّا.. وجاء ذلك ضمن حفل الإفطار الذي ترأسه، أمس بالقصر الملكي بالرباط، ضمن احتفالية مرور 13 سنة على وصوله إلى العرش.

ولاح ضمن ذات الموعد، وهو المكتفى به بعد إلغاء حفل الولاء لهذا العام، إمتناع الملك مدّ يده لتقبيلها من طرف المدنيّين.. إذ اكتفى رئيس الدولة بجعل الرّاغبين في تحيّته بالتقبيل يلثمون كتفه أو ذراعه.. وذلك في تعاط لفت الأنظار حين بثّ مجريات حفل الإفطار المذكور تلفزيّا.

من جهة أخرى برز إقبال الملك محمّد السّادس على تمكين العسكريّين، إلى جوار المنتمين للأجهزة شبه العسكريّة، من تقبيل يده ولأزيد من مرّة في بعض الحالات.. وذلك في تعاط مغاير تماما لنظيره الذي لوقي به المدنيّون Continue reading →

مصاحف “قرآن باربي” بصفحات ملونة .. العريفي : لا تشتروها

انتشرت في الآونة الأخيرة ظاهرة ما يسمى بـ (قرآن باربي)، وهو مصحف توزعه جهات مجهولة ويتم الاتجار به من قبل نساء في المنتديات، حيث يراه البعض انتهاكاً لحرمة الشهر الفضيل وتدنيساً لتعاليم الحنيف.

وكان الداعية الشيخ محمد العريفي أول من ندد بهذا الأمر على صفحات مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي (الفيس بوك) و(تويتر) حيث قال “ظهرت مصاحف ملونة بأشكال غريبة: هذا يُلون أسماء الله وهذا أسماء الأنبياء وأسماء المدن وهذا لكل جزء لون والقادم أدهى أرجوكم كفوا العبث بقرآننا”.

ويضيف العريفي في تغريدة أخرى قوله “مصاحف باللون الأحمر! وأخرى وردي! وأصفر! وشيء ملوّن حسب المواضيع! ومدري إيش!! وكل واحد يختار حسب ذوقه! أرجوكم لا تشتروها احفظوا هيبة القرآن Continue reading →
