Flying Day in Miami – Red Bull Flugtag 2012

Magic Carpet Ride achieved man’s eternal dream of human flight and first place prize on Saturday, Nov. 3 when their craft soared — at least for a few seconds — during Red Bull Flugtag Miami. The extreme event took place at Downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park, back for the first time since 2010, where participants competed after months of design preparation to see whose man-made, human-powered wings would take them the farthest, and look the best while doing it.

The game wasn’t very impressive but damn it was fun to play! It has some nice atmosphere and fun and unexpected ideas. In the end it kind of feels rushed, sometimes repetitive and the story falls flat. Still not complaining though! – I think this was great and I hope Shiver Games can come up with something even better in the future.

Summary – Life doesn’t always go according to plan. Pat Solatano (Bradley Cooper) has lost everything – his house, his job, and his wife. He now finds himself living back with his mother and father after spending eight months in a state institution on a plea bargain. Pat is determined to rebuild his life, remain positive and reunite with his wife, despite the challenging circumstances of their separation. All Pat’s parents want is for him to get back on his feet – and to share their family’s obsession with the Philadelphia Eagles football team.
