Hilarious Tom Cruise Oblivion Trailer Review with Uncle Al & Jack!

Uncle Al & Jack review the new Tom Cruise Sci-Fi post-apocalyptic alien-takeover epic, Oblivion official trailer on Trailer Hitch. Apparently bigfoot-style aliens have destroyed Earth leaving a few shattered monuments standing like a trashed pro football stadium where the last Superbowl was played and a rusty, crumbling Empire State Building. But what our hero, Tom Cruise, is actually doing, who he’s fighting, and what the hell is going on remain the key points of discussion for Jack and Uncle Al. Jack believes the aliens are mutant bears or yeti with H.R. Giger-like hoses protruding, while Al moans that without the NFL there is no civilization. There is also praise from Al for Morgan Freeman as a gangster-king of the post-apocalyptic underground, as well as his crazed insistence that women possess a “mopey look” in their “arsenals” that enable them to manipulate men. With references to Blade Runner, The Shawshank Redemption, All the Right Moves, and director/dp Michael Chapman.

Devin Faraci of Badass Digest interviews Roy Abramsohn about his new film Escape From Tomorrow. Jim White is an average American family man, mostly content to exist within his humdrum reality. At the tail end of a theme park vacation with his loving wife and two beautiful children, he is awakened by an unsettling phone call from his boss, who tells him that he has lost his job. Unwilling to disturb their sabbatical, Jim holds off on breaking the news to his family so they can enjoy their last day at the idyllic and beloved tourist destination. In desperate need of a distraction, he finds one amidst the long lines at the park—two attractive and fun-loving teenage girls. In his fractured state, Jim falls obsessively in love, making any excuse he can to follow them everywhere. Along the way, his paranoid psyche spirals even further downward, and the fine line between fantasy and reality becomes blurred.

First-time writer/director Randy Moore takes a bold and creative step into uncharted territory, inviting viewers on a surreal, postmodern voyage into the seedy underbelly of family entertainment.
