أكد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الكويتي الشيخ جابر المبارك الصباح أن بلاده لن تسكت على أي شخص يثبت تورطه في خلية الإخوان المسلمين التي ألقت السلطات الإماراتية القبض عليها مطلع العام الحالي.
وقال الشيخ جابر المبارك، في تصريح خاص لـ«الشرق الأوسط»، إن «الإخوة في الإمارات أبلغونا بوجود اتهامات لكويتيين يشتبه في تورطهم في تمويل تلك الخلية وتقديم أموال لها، لكنهم قالوا لنا انتظروا لحين انتهاء التحقيق، ونحن لا نملك معلومة مؤكدة، لكن الموضوع حاليا منظور أمام القضاء الإماراتي، ومتى وجدنا أناسا متورطين في هذا الأمر فلن نسكت عنهم أبدا».

حققت الكويت فائضا في الميزانية بقيمة 17 مليار دينار (60 مليار دولار) في الأشهر العشرة الأولى من السنة المالية الحالية التي تنتهي نهاية مارس/آذار الجاري، وفقا لأرقام صادرة عن وزارة المالية الكويتية.
وخلال الفترة التي انتهت أواخر يناير/كانون الثاني، ارتفعت العائدات إلى 27 مليار دينار (94.5 مليار دولار) في حين لم تتجاوز النفقات مبلغ 9.8 مليارات دينار (34.4 مليار دولار).
وازدادت العائدات بنسبة 11.6% مقارنة مع الفترة ذاتها من العام السابق، وتشكل ضعف العائدات المتوقعة لمجمل السنة المالية.
