When Bertone built its Jet 2 concept car to show off its coachbuilding expertise, one wealthy UK petrolhead was so impressed, he asked Bertone to make it for real. One donated Aston Martin Rapide and four months later and the bespoke Jet 2+2 Shooting Brake was ready to be shown at the 2013 Geneva motor show ahead of its delivery. But, not before Autocar’s Steve Sutcliffe took the £4m one-off for a spin on the roads around Bertone’s HQ.
