Koenigsegg One:1 to take on McLaren P1, Porsche 918 Spyder, Bugatti Veyron – picture special

The new Koenigsegg One:1 hypercar will aim to challenge the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport’s top speed of 258mph. Find out more in our picture special.

The new Koenigsegg One: hypercar is so called because its power output of 1340hp (1322bhp) matches its kerb weight of 1340kg. It will generate 600kg of downforce, aided by the enormous rear wing, and more than 2G of lateral grip under cornering. It also features active aerodynamic devices and what is described as an active chassis, all of which adjust to keep the car in its optimum specification depending on use.
