Irish marriage referendum: waking up to a ‘landslide vote’

Ireland wakes up to marriage equality – early counts suggest that there has been a landslide victory for the Yes campaign in the fight for gay marriage. A significant No vote was also mobilised.

The gay community was out early celebrating, but will remain nervous until the results are announced.
