عروض خرافية ندم أصحابها كثيراً على رفضها

في عام 2003 كان أقوى موقع للتواصل الاجتماعي هو Myspace حتى أنه شرع فى حملة لشراء المواقع الصغيرة التي من المتوقع أن تشكل منافسة لها وكان من بينها موقع صغير يدعى Facebook .
في عام 2005 اجتمع الرئيسي التنفيذي ل Myspace مع فريق Facebook الذي طلب مبلغ 75 مليون دولار مقابل الشراء. المبلغ الذي رفضه مدير Myspace
الأن وبعد عشر سنوات من ذلك الاجتماع قيمة موقع Facebook حوالي 17 مليار دولار.
أما Myspace فقد تم بيعه لشركة تسويق مقابل 35 مليون دولار فقط !

( لامبورجيني ) مؤسس ماركة السيارات الشهيرة ذهب الى ( انزو فيراري ) مؤسس شركة فيراري وأبلغه بعيوب فنية فى تصميم سيارات فيرارى
فكان رده : “لامبورغيني، كونك فلاحاً ربما تكون قادراً على قيادة جرار زراعي، لكنك لن تكون قادراً على التعامل مع سيارة مثل فيراري”.
وردا على هذه الإهانة، قرر ( لامبورجيني ) إختراع سيارته الخاصة
و الآن ماركة ( لامبورجيني ) تلك السيارة الفاخرة نجحت فى التفوق على سيارة ( فيراري ) بشكل منقطع النظير. لو كان ( فيراري ) قبل عرض ( لامبورغيني ) بالتعاون فإنه بالتأكيد لم يكن سيخسر نصيب سيارته في الأسواق العالمية

( روست بيروت ) من أهم رجال الأعمال والمستثمرين في مجال تقنية المعلومات في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
في عام 1992 عرض ( بيل جيتس ) مؤسس شركة ( مايكروسوفت ) علىه شراء الحصة الأساسية في شركة ( مايكروسوفت ) مقابل 60 مليون دولار ولكن ( روست ) رفض معتبراً انه مبلغ كبير
فى ٢٠٠٢ بعد ١٠ سنوات فقط صُنف ( بيل غيتس ) للمرة الأولى على أنه أغنى رجل في العالم وكل هذا أرباح الشركة التى رفض Rost أن يدفع فيها ٦٠ مليون دولار فقط

طوال أكثر من ٤٠ عام كانت شركة ( كوداك ) كانت تملك أكثر من 90% من مبيعات الأفلام الفوتوغرافية فى العالم
وفي عام 1975 اخترع مهندس يعمل بالشركة يدعى ( ستيف ساسون ) أول كاميرا رقمية إلا أن إدارة شركة ( كوداك ) رفضت تسويق هذا المنتج بحجة أن التصوير الرقمي سيضر بمبيعات التصوير الفوتوغرافي العادي
مع الوقت بدأ عالم التصوير يتحول إلى العالم الرقمي، وأخذت مبيعات كوداك بالانخفاض تدريجياً
في عام 2014 كانت كوداك على وشك الإفلاس بعد انقراض التصوير الفوتوغرافى من العالم كله
الشيء الوحيد الذي أنقذها من الأفلاس كان بيعها لجميع براءات الاختراع التي تملكها مقابل 525 مليون دولار

عملاق الانترنت الغني عن التعريف حوجل كان عبارة عن شركة صغيرة تدار من كراج
في عام 1999 تفاوض رجل الأعمال الأمريكي ( فينود خوسلا ) مع مؤسسي غوغل لاري بيج، وسيرجي برين على شراء شركتهم من أجل ضمها لعملاق البحث آنذاك Excite.com طلب مؤسسي جوجل مليون دولار ولكن خوسلا أصر على تخفيض الرقم إلى 750 ألف دولار فقط فرفض الشابان ذلك، وفشلت المفاوضات
بعد عشر سنوات من تلك المفاوضات كانت قيمة جوجل التسوقية تتجاوز مئة مليار دولار
