PewDiePie photo competition terms and conditions – July 2015
To enter, post your photo, which should include the “The Duck Is Coming” image supplied, on Instagram or Twitter including the following: @PewDiePie and #DuckIsComing
Entries must be received by no later than midnight on 22nd July 2015.
Entries that are obscene, defamatory, threatening, abusive or offensive in any way will not be accepted.
PewDiePie and the judges will pick their favorite photos from all valid entries received by the closing date. The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
The photos selected by the judges will be featured in the forthcoming book by Felix Kjellberg AKA Pewdiepie) entitled “This Book Loves You”. No alternative prize will be offered.
By sending us your photo, you allow Pewdiepie and Penguin Books Limited to use that photo throughout the world, in all media and in perpetuity (i) in all editions (including but not limited to ebooks) of the forthcoming Pewdiepie book “This Book Loves You” and (ii) in any promotional or advertising material in support of the book or Pewdipie generally (including but not limited to on social media). We may also crop, edit, translate, modify or otherwise adapt your photo as we see fit.
By sending us your photo, you confirm that your photo entry is your wholly-owned creation and, if it includes any third-party materials (e.g. artworks), that you have obtained the permission from the owner to use their work in your photo and for us to use the photo as described. You also confirm that you have obtained the permission of anyone shown or whose property is shown in the photo to the use of their image or that of their property in the book and as we’ve described above. You agree to keep us harmless from any claims in relation to your photo.
You also agree that you will not receive any payment for our use of your photo and that we have no obligation to include your photo in the book or to use it in any other way.
This competition is in no way sponsored or endorsed by Instagram and Twitter and you agree that Instagram and Twitter will not be liable to you in any way in respect of this competition.
