أكد حسين محمد 45 عام، “بواب” أحد العقارات السكنية بشارع محمد مظهر بالزمالك ، أن سلوي سامى أبو النجا شقيقة الفنان خالد أبو النجا لقيت مصرعها مساء اليوم، إثر حريق نشب بشقتها بالطابق السابع، بأحد العقارات السكنية بشارع محمد مظهر، وكانت تعيش بمفردها مع مجموعة من القطط يأتي ذلك فى الوقت الذى تمكنت الحماية المدنية من السيطرة علي الحريق
فيما يواصل رجال المعمل الجنائي والنيابة تكثيف جهودهم لمعرفة أسباب الحريق
وكشف حسين محمد، بواب أحد العقارات السكنية القريبة من موقع حريق شقة سلوى، شقيقة الفنان خالد أبو النجا، البالغة من العمر 62 عاما، بشارع محمد مظهر بالزمالك، أن سبب وفاتها يعود

لرفضها ترك مجموعة من القطط تعيش معها بشقتها، وسط الحريق، والنجاة بمفردها
وأكد شاهد العيان ، أن الفقيدة رفضت مغادرة الشقة قبل التأكد من مغادرة القطط ، ما أصابها بإختناق أدى لوفاتها

ولا يزال فريق من النيابة ورجال المعمل الجنائي يحاولون معرفة أسباب إندلاع الحريق
