نجوم رفضوا أدوار عالمية صنعت نجوم أخريين

النجم ميل جيبسون الذى رفض العديد من أشهر الأدوار الجيدة كدور Maximus فى فيلم هوليوود الشهير Gladiator مبرراً أنه أكبر سناً من شخصية البطل فى الفيلم ليقتنص الدور الممثل الأسترالىRussell Crowe ليحصد به جائزة أوسكار أفضل ممثل
لم يكن Gladiator هو الفيلم الوحيد الذى أقتنصه Russell Crowe،حيث أن جيبسون كان مرشح لفيلم آخر هو Robin Hood، ولكنه اعتذر بسبب انشغاله بتصوير فيلم Hamlet والذى رشح لجائزتين أوسكار. رفض أيضاً الممثل و المخرج ميل جيبسون فيلم Terminator وذلك من حسن حظ Arnold Schwarzenegger والذى أصبحت سلسلة من أشهر أفلامه ورفض أيضا ميل جبيسون سلسلة أفلام بات مان حيث رُشح لدور بات مان والذى لعبه Michael Keaton
