From pre-production to post-production movies are constantly changing. Scripts change, stories change, and budgets change, all having an effect on the final outcome of a movie. To help reduce runtimes, some movies eliminate scenes which slow plots down or create issues with the flow of the movie. In some cases these deleted scenes could have explained a lot of random plot holes that have really bugged people over the years.

For example, in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Finn is very quick to quit his duties as a Stormtrooper, but the final decision showcased a much darker plot than many fans realize. In the Goonies, every thought Data was talking nonsense when he mentioned battling a giant octopus, but the scene turned out to be true and was a rare deleted scene from the movie. In Independence Day, Jeff Goldblum’s character can somehow miraculously hack an alien ship, but a deleted scenes gets into the more specific details of how the process was completed. Star Trek sees the character attack Captain Kirk’s father the day he is born and then he disappears for several years. In Lord of the Rings, one character flip-flops his motives so much, but a deleted scene reveals his father’s deep-rooted evil. Groundhog Day may have had a very different opening involving a huge curse instead of showcasing the tragic day to day life Bill Murray suffers through in the film. Watch to see all these plot holes filled by deleted scenes and several others from your favorite Blockbuster movies!

Celebrities like to keep out of the sight of the paparazzi so it’s hard to know everything about their daily lives. That’s why we were stunned to discover there are more celebs out there who love to game in their free time than we previously thought. Who knew you may just spot a Hollywood A-lister hanging out at E3 next year.

Mila Kunis has actually had quite a few interviews where she discusses her love of gaming. She may have been one of the first female actresses to admit she loves video games. Her favorite was, of course, the popular MMORPG World of Warcraft. She definitely gained some major cool points after revealing this secret about herself.

Kobe Bryant is another celeb who loves to play games like Halo and Call of Duty in what little free time he has. He even appeared in a commercial for Call of Duty and, even though he experienced some backlash for doing so, he stood his ground and did it for the love of gaming. Bill Gates, who is invaluable for his advancements at Microsoft, has been part of video games since their existence. In fact, he’s credited with writing the code for one of the first PC games. Robin Williams was known for both his amazing comedic timing and his love of video games. He named his only daughter Zelda after he discovered his wife was pregnant while they were playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time together. Both of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Guardians of the Galaxy movies – 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy and 2017’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – have been fantastic to date, so excitement is understandably almost palpable for the third.

Since Disney’s dramatic firing of James Gunn from the project – thanks to historic tweets that were controversial to say the least – even more people are talking about the cosmic sequel and what it might entail.

In this video, we’ll run you through just some of weird and wonderful theories fans have conceived about the MCU’s upcoming 2020 offering – assuming it still happens without James Gunn (who is, to be fair to him, completely synonymous with the franchise)!

The theories in questions are; that James Gunn will actually be re-hired to direct the movie, that Drax won’t be in the movie because he’ll be dead, that Mantis will be revealed to be Star-Lord’s sister in the movie, that the current Guardians of the Galaxy will team-up with the old Guardians of the Galaxy in the movie, that the titular team will return to Knowhere to regain Star-Lord’s powers in the movie, that Nova will appear in the movie, that Quasar will appear in the movie, that Moondragon will appear in the movie, that Venom will appear in the movie, and that all the Guardians of the Galaxy will die in the movie.
