The Joker is not just one of Batman’s biggest foes, but he is one of the greatest movie villains of all-time. It seems like no matter who is playing the character, fans are drawn to the dark villain and the way he has evolved over the years. One of the more iconic looks of the Joker comes from his clown-face style. In 1989’s Batman we see a more traditional Joker while characters from The Dark Knight and Suicide Squad have taken a completely different approach.

Of course, you cannot talk about the Joker without referring to his violent ways. The Joker has a penchant for violence, including attacks on others, women, and whole groups of citizens. We’ve seen him kill easily, rob banks, and shoot others without giving it a second thought. But where exactly did the Joker come from? We will explore his origins in all of the movies, including films which didn’t even include a backstory. Watch to see how the Joker has totally changed over the years, depending on the project he has been in. While Batman remains really similar, you truly never know what to expect when it comes to The Joker! Even as you get used to seeing The Joker in other versions, you will have no clue what to expect with the 2019 Joker solo movie. For more than 40 seasons, Saturday Night Live has taken on the best in pop-culture, including television, music, and movies. When a big blockbuster hits theaters, SNL is bound to take it on and in recent years, these films have been spoofed with parody trailers of their own. The high-quality trailers feature great sets, fun cameos, and a whole new take on the movies. From Marvel to Star Wars, see some of the great classics and how SNL shaped them into hilarious comedies.

As Disney follows the trend of transitioning to live-action adaptations of their animated classics, Dwayne the Rock Johnson showcased his comedic acting chops in a parody of Bambi. Marvel’s lack of female-lead solo films was made fun of in the great trailer for a solo Black Widow movie. Instead of vampires, a Taylor Swift Twilight spoof featured a family of monsters created by Frankenstein. Djesus Uncrossed takes a fun look at Quentin Tarantino films and the ultra-violence presented in his historical retelling of stories. Young Adult dystopian movies like The Hunger Games and Maze Runner are sent up incredibly well for the parody entitled The Group Hopper. Star Wars: The Force Awakens gets a trailer spoof treatment where the actors showcase the differences between the younger and older generations. Wes Anderson movies are known for their quirky styles and SNL took a look at the possibility of a Wes Craven horror film starring Owen Wilson. Watch to see all of these increible spoofs that are often better than the movie itself!

When people saw the trailer for New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe on the Nintendo Switch, they saw Toadette pick up a power crown and become Peachette. This inspired Twitter artist Ayyk92 to draw a fan art comic with Bowser putting on the crown and a new character known as Bowsette was born! In her short lifespan, she’s become very popular and today, we’re going to tell you how and we’re going to show you some awesome Bowsettes!

You’ll hear how the cross between the Koopa King and Princess Peach became a trend, and how Bowsette inspired a new take on the Distracted Boyfriend meme. You’ll see various incarnations of Bowsette, including a pink one and one which takes her name literally. You’ll see crossovers with Street Fighter 2, Sonic The Hedgehog, cosplay and much, much more! The origins of the Halloween television specials started out as a way to get back at Fox and TV censors while eventually turning into a true artform with versions of the Simpsons you’ve never seen before. Homer Simpson was featured with CG animation for the first time and there are a ton of celebrity cameos featured in the episodes. Bart and Lisa Simpson go through some of their worst nightmares including a whole episode where Sideshow Bob gets to kill Bart over and over again. Characters do things you never expect and the show always manages to subvert expectations with some of the craziest spoofs and parodies.
