Spider-Man: Far From Home Theory – Will Mysterio Be Working For a Higher Power?

Hey you guys, it’s none other than your friendly neighbourhood Screen Rant again!

It’s now been confirmed that Quentin Beck AKA Mysterio will be the main villain in next year’s Spider-Man: Far From Home movie – and he’ll be played by Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal (of Donnie Darko, Brokeback Mountain and Southpaw fame).

There is, however, a theory that he’ll be working on behalf of someone more powerful than himself, given that he’s not exactly the most powerful threat Spider-Man has ever encountered in the comic books – and in this video, we’ll be discussing why that’s the case and who his master could be.

The potential masters in question are; Adrian Toomes AKA the Vulture (who was played by Michael Keaton in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming and will reappear in Far From Home), Norman Osborn (who hasn’t appeared in the MCU yet, but who could be a major villain going forward in the franchise), Loki (who’s been played by Tom Hiddleston in the MCU since 2011’s Thor movie), Dormammu (who appeared in 2016’s Doctor Strange movie, where he was voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch), and Thanos (who’s the current big-bad in the MCU and is voiced by Josh Brolin, having first appeared in the mid-credits scene of 2012’s Avengers movie).

It’s Rockstar vs Nintendo! Today we’re doing the most unthinkable thing on the Internet since “Superman vs Goku” by pitting “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.” against “Red Dead Redemption 2”.
For the sake of a fair comparison, we will not be taking “Breath of the Wild’s” DLC content into account, nor “Red Dead 2’s” online mode – mostly because it’s not out as of the time of writing. Since both games currently hold a 97 on Metacritic, however, we can’t hold back any punches in deciding which is best. No flaw will be glossed over. No feature will be underrepresented. Prepare for the toughest scrutiny these two games will face on the Internet. Let’s start the battle!

Ahh, the holiday season. We put up our decorations, shop the latest deals, and invite extended family members over for huge feasts. For many of us these traditions also include a lot of classic holiday films. Often topping the list: Home Alone and it’s sequel Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. While watching the antics of little Kevin McCallister year after year, people may wonder about the star — Macaulay Culkin. In the 90’s, he was arguably one of the biggest child stars and actors in general — but what happened? We’ll tell you and the next time you sit down to watch Home Alone, you’ll know about the rise and fall of Macaulay Culkin and how the child star went from marquee films to reclusive life of riches without the fame attached to it.

A quick glance at Macaulay Culkin’s IMDB page showcases a lot of movies in very little time. The 1990s was packed with films, television shows, and guest appearances on various programs. Culkin was in his pre-teens and working more than most adults. Then after 1994 suddenly it all ended. Nine years without a big screen credit and our vision of Macaulay Culkin was left with the roles he played as a child star. So happened? How did Macaulay Culkin go from multiple big screen projects in 1994 to disappearing from Hollywood for nearly a decade? Did he follow the path as so many other child stars — getting older and losing out on roles? Well, not quite — and like many things in Hollywood, the story of Macaulay Culkin is not so simple.
