Premiering at Home October 16

Seven years after the Monsterpocalypse, Joel Dawson (Dylan O’Brien), along with the rest of humanity, has been living underground ever since giant creatures took control of the land. After reconnecting over radio with his high school girlfriend Aimee (Jessica Henwick), who is now 80 miles away at a coastal colony, Joel begins to fall for her again. As Joel realizes that there’s nothing left for him underground, he decides against all logic to venture out to Aimee, despite all the dangerous monsters that stand in his way. The fun-filled and action-packed adventure also stars Michael Rooker and Ariana Greenblatt.

For all the good and all the bad, Nintendo sure does make a lot of strange moves. From the Wii to the 3DS to the Labo, Nintendo’s takes on what a controller can be are founded on evidence. And when we consider Nintendo’s past, as well as other major console-makers, we can start to make predictions about the future.

Breath of the Wild 2 is one of the most anticipated games out there. The original was an absolute smash hit, catapulting the Switch to immediate success on launch. Since its release on both Switch and Wii U, Breath of the WIld has also taken off on PC by way of emulation, with many playing the game in much higher resolutions and framerates than possible on console.

Considering the game’s sustained success, a sequel will come as no surprise, but confirmed details about Breath of the Wild 2 are few and far between. Accordingly, we’ve come up with our dream wishlist for what we’d like to see happen in Breath of the Wild 2. Breath of the Wild may have been an excellent game, but don’t let the 10/10s fool you: there is more than enough room for improvement. And considering the developers over at Nintendo have confirmed Breath of the Wild 2 will be building on the world of Breath of the Wild, a much more deep, complex game at the same scale is possible.

Even if the PS4 was not the platform of choice for most Esports competitors last generation, Sony has taken great strides to boost their image in the world of Esports, and it looks like they might finally pay off with the PS5. Besides, organized competition has always been a part of gaming culture, but Esports is just too big to ignore nowadays.
