There are tons of Game of Thrones characters that have wowed us on screen. Check out some of these secrets you may not have known.
Kit Harrington almost didn’t play Jon Snow and the role almost went to Iwan Rheon who plays Ramsay Bolton. Jon Snow’s parentage has been hinted at several times throughout the series. None so much as when he is sitting in Castle Black and the initials of his parents were engraved on a beam above him. Tamzin Merchant originally played Daenerys Targaryen on a pilot that was never released because it was so bad. The producers eventually picked Emilia Clarke. Brienne of Tarth has a cool piece of family history being related to Ser Duncan the Tall who was a famous knight decades before the series began. Littlefinger can somewhat predict the future based on a quote he tells his step-son Robin Arryn about how people die. There were three people that died just how Littlefinger described. Emilia Clarke had to eat a 3 pound gummy bear that was supposed to be a horse heart when she was with Khal Drogo. The Mountain, Gregor Clegane, has been played by three different actors. Ned Stark’s remains are still unaccounted for and we are left to wonder what happened to them. Tyrion could be another Targaryen besides Jon Snow running around Westeros. The Stark children are all wargs in the books, not just Bran like we have seen in the t.v. series. Wow… lot’s of secrets, huh? Have you heard of any of these?

Speedruns are incredible to watch online. Players get the chance to showcase their amazing gaming skills by defeating levels, using hidden secrets, and cutting down on their best times. A lot of video games have moments of luck, random events, or even glitches that can impact how a speedrun works. For many players, this can result in unlucky moments that really delay times and the ability to set records.

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas feels like a living and breathing world. This also includes the random occurrence of plane crashes featured in the game. One player saw how bad these crashes could be when a plane came flying out of the sky. In The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, one part of the game includes winning a dog race to unlock special prizes and extras within the game. One player finds it nearly impossible to do this task and pick the lucky dog. Some elements of a game are out of a player’s control and that’s exactly what happened to someone waiting for the Hammer Bros. to find their proper position in a Super Mario Bros. 3 map. The original Mario Party game features a Bom-Omb challenge and one player cannot seem to defeat his opponents to move on from the level. While setting an impressive speedrun score, one player has to listen to a voice chat from a viewer that donated to the channel. The repetitive voice becomes distracting enough to dramatically change the course of the speedrun. A lot of random events occur in the Pokemon Red and Blue games. One speed runner finds himself dealing with random encounters with Weedles. Other unlucky moments include games like Resident Evil 2, Minecraft, and Super Mario Bros. the lost levels.
