We have loved every minute of Super Mario Odyssey (don’t get us wrong it’s almost perfect) but there are some things we’d love to see changed and improved. After all, no one and no video game is perfect.

If you don’t own a Switch by now then you probably won’t get to enjoy Super Mario Odyssey. Sorry to say but the Wii U is basically obsolete at this point.

How many artists does it take to make Super Mario Odyssey? Apparently, a lot who all had different ideas of what the kingdoms should look like. Collecting moons makes us nauseous because there are too many and no possible way to collect them all. If you have OCD, steer clear of them.

We like the Game Over screen but it looks like it’s game over for this classic in-game feature. Nintendo has decided to take it easy on us. Do you like Amiibos? So do we! We just don’t like the fact that we’ll need to spend almost 40 dollars for some temporary benefits for Super Mario Odyssey. Cappy may look sweet and innocent but it seems like he may have a darker side.

Where in the world is Luigi? We adore him, but he always seems to get the short end of the Nintendo joystick. If you defeated Bowser and you quit after, we don’t really blame you, but if you want a real challenge, keep going. Two words: motion controls. If you don’t know how to use them by now you should probably learn because they’ll come in handy while playing Super Mario Odyssey. Join us as we tear apart everything wrong with this Nintendo masterpiece!

For a show that has been around nearly 20 years, you know that it has a lot of influence in pop-culture. Of course, we’re talking about the Nickelodeon hit SpongeBob Squarepants. With multiple movies and hundreds of episodes, SpongeBob has not only appeared in its own content, but references to the show have been made in numerous movies and television shows.

One of the newest popular cartoons is Rick & Morty. The cast and producers of the show actually created their own improvised episode of Rick & Morty as if they were to crossover into the world of SpongeBob. In the film Alvin and the Chipmunks, the lazy rodents spend a lot of time watching SpongeBob while they pig out on snacks. In the TV movie Jimmy Neutron: Operation Jet Fusion, Jimmy swims underwater and goes right past a pineapple sitting on the ocean floor. One of Nick’s newest hits is Loud House and the show has featured numerous SpongeBob references. Phineas and Ferb features some former SpongeBob writers, so it was only fitting that the characters would discover SpongeBob and Patrick while digging at a beach. The Simpsons loves to reference so much in pop-culture and SpongeBob has been featured on the show for numerous years. Family Guy used Peter to showcase how adults still love watching SpongeBob. The anime series Gurren Lagann features a cameo from Squidward in one of the more unsuspected places. South Park has showcased SpongeBob one time in a blink and you’ll miss scene from a Halloween party. Futurama gave a futuristic take on the whole SpongeBob franchise. Watch and see all these SpongeBob references found on other shows!

We all love the Joker, who is considered by many to be the greatest fictional villain of all time. He’s unpredictable, charismatic and ruthless in his conquest. But despite being so popular, we don’t know that much about him. This is thanks largely to an unknown backstory, which has allowed interest theorists to go crazy and conjure up the best backstories, origins and explanations for the Joker. For one, there could actually be three versions of the Joker, thanks to Flashpoint and thus that could make him a deity. Another is that the Joker is in fact Jason Todd in the DCEU. We know the director said otherwise, but who listens to directors before the launch of a film? It’s possible that the Joker is in fact the long lost brother of Bruce Wayne, which explains their bond. A more grounded and sad back story was that the Joker was a soldier who came back with a scary case of PTSD, a reason for his proficiency with firearms and explosives. He was theorized to be a virus, capable of passing the Joker persona onto the next victim, hence the changes in appearance over the years, and was also thought to be a member of Fight Club and Project Mayhem. His superpower is thought to be super sanity while another suggests that he was in fact the hero of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight film. We never saw the official outcome in Killing Joke, although it was heavily implied, it’s possible he finally got Batman to break his one rule.

Animated films are great for children to learn life lessons. Unfortunately, sometimes these life lessons involve death. While it’s common for animated films to allude to death and have a character die off screen, some of them pushed the limits by showcasing a character die on screen.

In the film Tangled, Rapunzel’s adoptive mother and kidnapper stays eternally young until the magical powers go away and she withers away in front of our eyes. Monster House features a pretty horrific backstory including carnival side-show act that falls to her death and gets buried alive in cement. The straight-to-DVD film Green Lantern: Emerald Knights features a pretty disturbing death involving a decapitation. Tarzan’s great jungle adventure reaches a dramatic finale when Clayton gets tangled up in the wrong vine and is literally hung to death. The Land Before Time features a dramatic scene where Little Foot learns some tough lessons on life and death as his mother passes away. The death of an insect may seem like nothing until you see it happen to poor Ray in The Princess and the Frog and Charlotte in Charlotte’s Web. Inside Out showcased a terrible death to a character that has deeper meaning than anyone can imagine. The Black Cauldron took animated deaths to a whole new level as the Horned King was burned alive. The Lion King features the tragic death of Mufasa at the hands of Scar and it still haunts us to this day. Watch to see how all of these deaths played out on screen!

The Nintendo Switch is one of the hottest consoles of 2017. After all, it’s a Nintendo release so could anyone expect anything less? Nintendo has been a staple of gaming consoles since the first system came out and the company has been breaking records for as long as anyone can remember. Not only are the consoles relatively cheap compared to other consoles on the market, but they also manage to be family friendly while still providing entertaining games for all ages. In fact, their title character Mario is popular amongst all gamers from casual to hardcore.

While the Nintendo Switch is one of the more inexpensive consoles on the market, a $300 price tag is nothing to dismiss. For most people, this is still a hefty purchase. Purchasing games is another issue entirely and when all the money is gone, it’s difficult to find cheap accessories that are still functional and useful.

Luckily, there are some inexpensive accessories out there for the Nintendo Switch. From upgrading controllers to protecting the screen, there are several items that are must haves for every Nintendo Switch user. Not only do these accessories add to the gameplay experience, but a few of them will add longevity to the already hefty investment of a Nintendo Switch. No one wants to drop $300 on a console only to have it break a few months later. On top of that, some of these items are downright awesome and will not only improve gameplay, but it might convert a few gamers to Nintendo life.
