When a person thinks of Nintendo, there are a lot of positive elements that come to mind. The colorful world of Mario, the inventiveness of Zelda, and the creative minds behind Pokemon just to name a few. There are some things that probably dont come to mind: murder, animal abuse, and affairs. All of those elements are actually a huge part Nintendos gaming history. Even as Nintendo tries to portray themselves as family-friendly, its become harder to hide some of these creepy factors.

All of those innocent NES games that you played as a child actually had a lot of creepy and shocking elements to them that people never fully realized until years later. Through research, game manuals, and a few Easter eggs, these creepy facts have been uncovered and shared with the world. Mario isnt the innocent hero we all remember. Some of your favorite Pokemon actually have incredibly disturbing backstories that involve death, children, and chilling events. The origins of Zelda and Link have a rumored revelation that turns out to be true. This includes Nintendo games for the NES, Super Nintendo, Game Boy, and later systems like the Wii and Wii U.

Black Mirror is a fantastic British science fiction anthology television series that was created by the brilliant Charlie Brooker. It can be found on Netflix and each episode is a standalone story with a different cast and setting – although they seem to all take place in the same universe. It first aired in 2011 and is still going strong, with a fourth series set to be released in 2018. In this video, well run you through some of the coolest secrets and Easter eggs that can be found in the show – and there are certainly plenty of them to choose from. The ones were including here are; some callbacks to when British prime minister Michael Callow had inappropriate relations with a pig in season one, a couple of references to the brilliant season one episode "Fifteen Million Merits", a few references to the season two episode "The Waldo Moment", references to real-life games developer Hideo Kojima and the popular Metal Gear Solid games, references to the BioShock games, references to the iconic Resident Evil franchise, a reference to the Christmas special episode "White Christmas", a reference to Charlie Brookers previously aired thoughts on the U.K. news coverage of the immigration crisis, a reference to the National Allied bank (which had appeared in a previous episode), and a nod to an iconic scene in the popular Matrix series of movies. If there’s one trend that can be found in a majority of Disney movies, then it’s their constant use of freefalls. Characters fall off cliffs, buildings, and other objects as they lunge to possible death and injury.

Through the years, we’ve some crazy free falls including ones that lead to deaths, shocking moments, and some great intensity. The Evil Queen met her demise at the top of a deadly cliff. The same thing happened to Gaston when he desperately tried to kill the Beast. The Lion King featured two crazy falls, one featuring Mufasa and the other featuring Scar. Lightning McQueen suffered a terrible car crash that could have ended his racing career. In Toy Story, Buzz took a couple big falls and in Toy Story 2, it was Emperor Zurg who had a fall himself. Cruella De Vil got a little road crazy while chasing down some puppies. In Tangled, Mother Gothel fully disappeared before she even had a chance to hit the ground. Not only was Malificent stabbed in the chest, but she fell to her fiery grave in Tangled. In The Good Dinosaur, Arlo and Spot go flying over a giant waterfall. A human takes out a bear and knocks him off a cliff with amazing fashion in Brother Bear 2. A crazy river trip leads to a huge waterfall disaster in The Rescuers Down Under.
