A majority of animated movies are geared directly towards children. Of course, there are adult television shows like Family and the Simpsons, but the movie realm is mostly for kids. There are exceptions though, and parents want to make sure none of these movies slip into their digital queue at home. If you are an adult who loves animation, then some of these movies might be right up your alley.
Fritz the Cat is unlike anything you’ve seen animated before. It’s crude, politically incorrect, and features racist undertones. Many families enjoyed watching Justice League together, but they probably shouldn’t gather around to watch the violence and scenes in Justice League Dark. Plague Dogs will haunt anyone who watches the incredibly sad film about animals getting experiments done on them and features a lot of intense violence. Aqua Teen Hunger Force pushed the limits as a television show and took things even further with their theatrical movie. There are a lot of animated holiday classics, but Eight Crazy Nights doesn’t exact scream family togetherness. Cool World attempts to be like Who Framed Roger Rabbit, but pushes the elements to an extreme. Starship Troopers: Invasion is not a film that should get confused with Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Jay and Silent Form return to their animated form with drugs, crude humor, and superheroes. Evil Toons is a low-budget horror film featuring nudity, violence, and a crazy wolf monster. Sausage Party pushes the limits on adult humor with gags, jokes, and visuals that could make many people feel uncomfortable. Watch to see 10 animated movies made for parents!

Frozen has been a phenomena for several years now as fans still enjoy the music, characters, and everything the movie has to offer. In the short, Frozen Fever, Elsa’s sickness causes the formation of some new tiny snow creatures. A sled ride provides a thrilling scene and ways for Kristoff and Anna to get closer. Let It Go has become an anthem all around the world and truly taken on a life of its own. Watch to see how Frozen is connected to another his Disney Animation entitled Zootopia. Oh, loot crates and microtransactions! Every gamer is, by now, at least somewhat familiar with the pay to play model of most video games. What was once a product of apps and cell phone games has now bled over into console and PC gaming with disastrous results. What was once a joke when it came to casual cell phone games is now quickly becoming a staple in regular gaming, whether the fans like it or not. If developers are earning money, albeit in a sleazy way, what will eventually stop this downward spiral?

Video games of this magnitude, AAA titles specifically, already cost enough money to purchase in the first place. With the initial startup cost of purchasing a console or building a gaming PC, paying $60 for a video game is already a steep enough price. Not to mention the fact that most video games nowadays seem short while the developers are busy pushing out hastily created DLCs which, in all honesty, should’ve been part of the original game in the first place.
Game developers are obviously getting greedy and they’re well aware of the fact that some people will continue shelling out their hard earned cash for more content or a new skin. It’s greasy, real greasy. Gamers deserve better from the companies that they keep in business. No one wants to spend their paycheck to get double XP in one measly game and they shouldn’t have to either. Video game companies are going too far and it’s not only EA, as much as everyone would like to believe they’re the only culprit of this pay to play racket.
